I have been an EMT for several years and been through many things people wouldn't and couldn't bare to see, but I have seen many people of all ages have a stroke or a heart attack. The first hour is what we call the golden hour, because if treatment isn't started immediately the end result can be deadly. Now I'm not saying this to scare you but as long as you stay healthy you should be fine. This DOES NOT mean that just because you are healthy that it won't happen, but it lessens the chance of it occuring.

Heart attacks and strokes can happen with babies in the womb and at any other age through out life. If you think you or someone you know is having one, get to the ER immediately. These are serious and should be treated ASAP to lessen the damage and maybe save the person's life.

Neurological issues in a cat having advanced age. You know what you will have to do someday soon. Would call this a TIA, transient ischemic attack. Stroke happens soon, later on.

Yes, it is absolutely possible, especially if
1. You have a family history (I do)
2. You were born with heart defects (I was)...

You can help to prevent this by....
1. Eating healthy
2. Exercise
3. Get Plenty of Rest
4. Do not smoke
5. Avoid Alcohol
6. Avoid excess stress
7. Visit your physician regularly

Anyone who tells you that you are too young is wrong. Yes, it is somewhat rare in someone your age, but it is possible.
