It JUST crossed my mind that I'm a Christian and my parents have no idea that I masturbate, but is it a sin? I'd ask them but then they'd say something that would make me seem addicted to sex, which I'm not! Is there anything wrong with masturbating? Just because you do it, does it mean your addicted and hooked on sexual thoughts?!

I'm not sure within christian views, but it is not sinful. Its natural and fun. We all have sexual urges. Its important to listen to them. Keep doing what you are doing.

It doesn't mean you are addicted, I assume you are in your teens, so your hormones are going to be all over the place and you may feel more need to masturbate. But its completely normal, healthy and natural. Most of all, enjoyable. With 0 risk of pregnancy.

According to christian beliefs, it is sinful. Because technically, you're using something God gave you in order to procreate for your own pleasure, so it kinda has the same status as having sex using condoms, or before marriage.
However, nowdays it is widely recongized as something perfectly normal everybody does in the process of self-discovering sexuality. A lot of years ago, some people thought there were some medical side effetcs related to it, but those have been proven wrong in the last decades.

Masturbation is very natural. All kinds of people masturbate to an extent. A lot of people don't talk about it because they feel it is sinful, but its not. It just means you have a healthy, sexual appetite. Or you have a partner who is sub-par in bed.

ahh I'm so glad you asked that! I'm a Christian too and am in the same situation! If I were you, I wouldn't ask them...especially if they're like my parents. I don't think it's a bad thing, as long as you're not "having" sex I don't think it technically counts as a sin?

From a religious point of view its sinful. However, from my view, Masturbation is a part of life. It's totally natural and healthy. Even people in healthy marriages masturbate. So, I say go for it!

NO!!! your only human and your body needs these types of feelings and sensations. I think that you have to explore your body in order to figure out what pleases you and what doesn't. I heard it's actually healthy for the body and soul

Absolutely not!!

Some might try to think that, but only people who are sexually repressed.

God wants you to be happy and experience joy and happiness so long as you're not hurting yourself or someone else.

There is nothing wrong with pleasuring yourself.

People masturbate because they are addicted to sexual thoughts. I do all the time LOL.
I was just doing at my jobs.
I am trying my best not to do it. Its okay sometimes, but eventually you will do it more and more.
