I've had problems with my achilles tendon since about April last year. I've been giving it breaks where I'm not doing ANYTHING whatsoever, but when I go back to walking a whole lot or dancing (I do ballet, pointe, and tap) it starts bugging me a whole lot.
I went to my regular doctor in May when it first started hurting (I still don't know what caused it to flare up), and he said that I'd have to go to a sports medicine doctor who specialized in foot injuries since resting it hasn't helped.
I've cut back on my dancing (I still go twice a week like I always have, I'm just not doing all the stuff that causes it to hurt the most), and have wrapped my ankle in an ACE bandage when I'm dancing, and iced it down when I get home, but it still hurts just as much.
Is there a chance that I'll have to stop dancing for a long time (like more than a few weeks?) Or that I'll get put oncrutches or anthing? I realy don't want to give up dancing since it's the only exercise I get.

I put on a ring on my index finger last night and now I can't get it to come off. It only hurts my finger when I try to pull it off but when I leave it alone it doesn't hurt, so it's not cutting off circulation or anything. I tried vegetable oil, and soap and it's not coming off. Any suggestions?? Thank you!

I work in a school where a child in my class has ringworm. I now have ringworm. It started in one place- and I now have 5 places where ringworm has spread. I have been using Myconizole since the first spot appeared- that one has almost cleared. I am also using alcohol to dry them up, then applying the myconizole several times a day.

I am beyond frustrated. I am washing my hands as usual and have never had this before. My family does not have it- but I am treating it, using separate towels and such. I am washing constantly.

If I go to my doctor, is it possible to have them prescribe an oral antifungual treatment? Are such treatments safe to take when you are breastfeeding? I am calling tomorrow from work but need ideas since I am so beyond frustrated.

The child's family said they are treating it and I do hope so.

Advice???

my mom needs to lose the last of her weight by november 1st. she lost about 14/15 pounds the first 16 days. last week she lost absolutely nothing or even gained a pound. i have heard about plateaus, but will she continue losing weight this coming week. her plan is always the same. her diet is around 1200 calories right now (plus wine and tea) and she goes to the gym for an hour or two and burns about 800 calories on the bike...

so: what caused her weight to stay the same this week?
will next week work? why/why not?

my mom said she would take me to disneyland if i be her coach because i'm "somewhat diet-savy" according to her. it would be really great to go.... =/ she really wants to get to her goal for her class reunion!!

My children have Lice I have treated with several different things this weekend and the lice are still to the point that they are noticable. We again are treating them tonight but we hope that this will be the end of it. We hope!!! I am just wondering How lice origionally come about. What brought them to this earth? And how the heck do we keep them from comingback into our home? and off of our children? like I said we have done two types of treatment in the last two days and I also cut my oldest childs hair. Lately, my cycle has been off due to anxiety and stress issues, but it's been leveling it's self out. Just recently (it ended early this morning) I had my period, and for the entire 3 1/2 4 days of it, I had very large clots of blood that normally aren't there. There have been clots or two in previous periods, but never as frequently or as large as the ones I have recently experienced.

I am sixteen years old, and have been experiencing menustration since I was 11.

I quit taking Zoloft (150 mg) cold turkey about 3-4 wks. ago and got switched to Welbutrin XL a couple days ago. All of a sudden I feel sick, tired, sad, and REALLY irritable and angry. I mean every little thing ticks me off beyond belief!

Are these withdrawl symptoms and when will I start to feel normal again?

Ever since growin up into teenagehood i alwasy felt im different from the rest of the kids. I thought im more mature n understanding. But the rest of the kids seemed so out of loop to me. I had to try to fit in in order to find friends
But i got 2 really bad depressions.
For some reason i always thought i had great 6th sense and im also very good at talkin to people and influencing people.
Im great adisor to my friends and I always know the right argument.
However i still think that im differennt. Ive been readin about religion now and trying to think what is the definition of my feeling.
I know sosciety says that psychic abilities can be fake and im also a lil hesitant about it. But what if i have psychic abilities?
I remember when i used to talk to girls i knew what to say.
Is it depression im facing or is it just teh fact that i might actually have some psychic abilities?
