my friend runs cross country, and last year she was in great shape. she had great muscle tone and she wasnt at al fat, but she had a healthy amount of fat on her. over the summer she lost a lot of weight, i mean a lot. she started cross country up again, so i thought she would eat more and gain the weight back, but she hasnt. im pretty sure she doesnt have an eating disorder. but she said she has missed her period for 3 months now, and her doctor said it was fine cuz she is an athlete. is this right? it seems wrong to miss your period, i understand it lightening up, but she hasnt had a drop.
is this normal?
she is about 5'9 and probably weighs close to 110 pounds.
waaaaaaaaaay too skinny...she looks unhealthy
please help me out
