In dire need of help! Today, I got an unusaully sharp pain in the back, top portion of the right side of my head; immediately following this I felt the urge to vomit and then lost control of my bablance. I fought extremely hard not to pass out as I was with my class of students. I am grateful that I was able to fight so hard to not cause any disruption to my class as they are only 5th and 6th graders. This has happened once before in the same exact way one month ago. I told my doctor but he did not say anything in regards to any of this, instead he sent me as a refferral to see an obgyn, due to the fact that I also have not had a cycle since April 2007. I am of course not pregnant I've been tested every month to no avail.

I have also been having problems with involuntary and frequent muscular twitching in my left eye, forefinger, arm and thigh. I have also been having trouble with dropping things a lot lately, that my friends and family are starting to make fun of me. Please Help!

Oh wow, you poor little thing !!

Headaches and migraines, dizzy spells, loss of balance, nausea and vomiting are all symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency ............. other symptoms you may be having are fatigue and exhaustion, insomnia, constipation, tingling and prickling and numbing sensations in the outer extremities, irritability and moodiness, inability to concentrate, excessive sweating and even chest pains and heart palpitations !! Quite scary actually if you don't realise the vitamin factor. Eat more foods rich in this vitamin ie: organ meats such as lambs fry and kidneys, skimmed milks, cheese, eggs and fish.

If you are vegetarian or lactose intolerant then supplementation with a good quality multi B complex talet is a must. Go get yourself a good quality multi B complex supplement including all the B's - B1, 2, B3, B5, B6 and B12 - as they work best as a group. As the B complex group of vitamins is a water soluble group our bodies can neither store or produce them so we need to ingest them on a daily basis or suffer the side affects as you are now well aware of.

When our bodies are under added stress the all important B's are the ones which will be used up pretty quickly, so simply take another tablet. As they are water soluble your body will simply use what it needs and peesh out the rest.

Involuntary and frequent muscular twitching is usually the result of magnesium deficiency. Eat more foods rich in this mineral ie: leafy greens, cold water fishes such as tuna, salmon, sardines and whiting. Our bodies need magnesium to keep our arteries and veins healthy and flexible. Magnesium is also known as the antistress mineral.

Also, a good way to reduce your stress levels is to start experimenting with herbal teas such as peppermint tea which is good for digestion and giving us clarity and calmness of mind.

GOOD LUCK

This sounds like a neurological problem and you need to see a neurologist soon. In fact I'm almost positive.
I don't want to alarm you in any way, but you need to see a neurologist soon, because these symptoms will only keep progressing, if you ignore it.
Secondly, the doctor that sent you to an obygyn for those symptoms, is not a doctor you should see again. Those symptoms have nothing to do with a menstrual cycle or possibly being pregnant, (other than the urge to vomit).

It could just be a migrane brought on by stress.
Migranes can cause you to feel nausea. You could always try a lady psychiatrist, as they combine medical and mental health.

This sounds serious.

Get a second opinion IMMEDIATELY!

It could be someting minor, but could also be a stroke, transient ischemic attack, brain tumour, etc, all of which could have serious consequences if left untreated.
