i don't mean for this to be inappropriate, but i found a redish lump on my..."stuff" and it hurts a lot when it rubs up against things like my underwear.

Now i haven't had sex in over a year and a half and i've only had one sexual partner and i used a condom everytime so i don't think it is something like herpies but i was wondering if maybe it was like a zit or something because i know when i get a zit on like my upper lip or on my back, they tend to hurt a lot to. If you know please let me know, if not i'll probably get it checked out after a week or so if it doesn't go away. (i was thinking that maybe it was a blood blister possibly)

It could be a ingrown hair, they can be very painful and stay with your body for a long time, also it may be a boil. I know this sounds gross but have you tried to pop it? thats what Id do. Also I want to thank you for begining your letter with the fact that you dont want to sound inappropriate, this tells me and many others on this site that you are legit! sometimes people will come on here with some gross distasteful questions, almost like they are attention seekers, so thanks for keeping it real and not sounding sick. Good Luck and dont worry its most likely just a good ole fashion painful zit.

It's skin isn't it? Sure you can get a zit there. I'd take this slow though. Go to a Doctor and get it treated by a pro. The last thing you need is an infection down there!

could also be an ingrown hair. could take a few days to go away, either way, since that is an area it is hard to isolate and leave alone long enough to let something heal quickly.

my former boyfriend used to get those a lot too...they went away after a little bit...he just picked at them and like two days later, they went away.
