I usually drink 2% milk daily, is this good for me to be drinking if im thinking about losing weight? Also, I do skateboard alot and wonder if im benefiting from skateboarding an hour a day?

Give up milk in the US because it is like drinking poison.

Dairy cattle in the US are injected with rBGH to boost milk production levels to un-natural rates for more profits; not to mention side effects in the cattle like puss infections in the teets that ends up in the milk in some cases.

Monsanto corporation (same guys that made Nurasweet(suspected of being a cancer causing agent) and Naplam) has done several studies with this substance and it was allowed to be used by the USDA. All other western govts. have banned this hormone for safety reasons.

If you want to still drink milk switch to something soy based. The cattle will thank you as well.

Skateboarding an hour a day...depends what kind you are doing? Skate park or just strolling down the road? If you do the skate park then ya it is good exercise but.....if you are just standing around watching other hit the pipe then nope: sorry mister!

Skateboarding can be good exercise but things like jogging, swimming and walking would be better.
2% is better than whole but skim is even better if you want to lose weight.
The best thing to do is drink water.

only babies need to consume milk, human adults do not need milk to be healthy. no other mammal on the planet consumes milk from another animal species except for homo sapiens. calcium is found in numerous other whole foods and it just as bioavailable as that found in dairy.

don't buy into the bs spread by the multi-billion dollar dairy industry and the US government. 70% of the worlds population does not consume milk after being weaned by the mother and those populations do not suffer from calcium deficiencies.

milk would only be off benefit for weight loss "if" you were deficient in calcium and calories. milk is no miracle food it causes more problems than it solves.

well i think you should drink skim milk

it's known for regular milk, 2%-1% w/e...is basically fat and skim milk is fresh milk and is healthy especially for losing weight

as for the exercises aroebics such as tae bo, walking is good especially inclinor and weights too

running is a good warm up 10-15 minute

then a good 30 exercise

2 minute stretching

then 10-15 weights

after workouts and during drink plenty of water

but in your main food in take have chicken,fish, veggies , water,tea, skim milk

all in moderation

Both are a benefit.
Milk is protein, and Skateboarding is Excercising, also a pretty healthy hobby

have you ever seen those TRUTH commercials? the host said "drinking milk is more dangerous then tobacco smoking"...BUT milk is good but too much of anything is NOT.

If you drink enough of it it is! It very very fattening! 2% is also very fattening drink water. Ha! Ha! I need to pratice what I preach!!!
