Hello Victoria,
The sweating and gasping for air makes me think it might be a minor anxiety response to some stress in your life. I had the same symptoms about 10 years ago and in my case it was stress caused, the symptoms were diagnosed by my Dr. Once I know it was stress I was able to identify the cause, deal with it and eliminate it from my life. Is all well at home, school, work? Has your relationship issues with your boyfriends parents(do they still think you're a jinx) gotten worse? You should not delay a visit to your doctor. If the symptoms are stress related or being caused by an infirmity the soon you have it attended to the better.
Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

My first thought is gastro-esophageal reflux. It can cause nightime wheezing, too. Try eating your last meal at least three to four hours before you go to bed, longer if possible. Lose weight if you are heavy. You might try Zantac or Tagamet, but there may be better choices available by prescription.

Advil may cause stomach distress. Consider Tylenol.

See a doctor if you don't get good relief promptly with the above regimen. Other forms of wheezing and/or reactive airway disease exist, and require different medical management. Singulair might be an option your doctor recommends.

Sounds like indigestion, stomach ulcer or gall bladder.
Pain is a symptom of something wrong and you need to get this diagnosed. The fact that it is after your meal at night, that it lasts for 1- 2 hours sounds like gall bladder issues.

It sounds quite nasty - gall bladder problems do not go away by themselves and you find you get attacks now and then and usually after you eat something spicy or high in fat.

Go get it checked out and fixed.

If you have acidity it can cause ulcer, constipation, inflammation and appendicitis.
Pain is in upper part, so ulcer or gastritis is the reason.
Treat ulcer with cocoanut water, sprouts, salads, only sweet fruits and milk by avoiding all other things except water!
Pl treat your constipation with warm water + lemon early in the morning, orange or citrus fruits if they suit especially for breakfast, salads and milk.
There is no medicine for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 90% success in treating ALL PAINS confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I treat it with SHREE SWASTHYAYOG THERAPY, but how can you manage pl see.

It could be a lot of things I don't want to scare you but it sounds like it could be some form of Tuberculosis of the stomach, or crohns disease, or some intestinal disorder. Night sweating and breathing problems are not just normal stomach pains that is treated with a pain killer. But I can't be sure. please go see a doctor it sounds serous
