Go see a Physician- Could be that you have strep throat or tonsillitis, which needs antibiotic treatment. Are you running a fever? Take some liquid motrin or ibuprophen for the sore throat. Even if ur tooth is an issue, this will help with the pain, also. Stay hydrated- Eat ice chips, popcycles, things that will ease the throat pain. There are also lozenges that will help with the sore throat pain. IF the tooth is an issue, place some anbesol liquid on the sight of the sore tooth for pain relief. Hope this helped. Good Luck!

I'm telling you this sore throat thing is really going around! I had it on my left side just like you described for 3 weeks! Then I got it on the right side for one week.

Sucking on Hall's or Robitussin cough drops is all that really helped me. Get different flavors. They get really old.

I gargled with hot salt water, but I don't know if that did any good. Get the cough drops. Get well soon!! :)

NSAID like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac may help.
If it persists or worsens, visit your doctor.
Good luck!
