I got all four of my widsom teeth removed about three weeks ago. Everything seems to be healing up fine. I still have the holes (where my widsom teeth use to be), and they seem to be closing up fine. I haven't been having any pain. Lately I noticed some white stuff/film around and near the wisdom teeth extraction site (lower left part of my jaw).

It started appearing after I started using Listerine. During the first two weeks, I was using Scope, but I ran out, so I bought some Listerine. Could the listerine be causing this? The white stuff is more prominent after I brush and gargle. It seems to fade away during the day.

It's been about a month and I haven't lost a pound. I workout at least 6 days a week and I record everything I eat, double check the calories in a calorie counter book, and still nothing. What's up?

I keep on doing the iodine test with a 2% iodine tincture on my skin and the spot goes away after 2-3 hours even though I am taking iodine supplement. How long it takes to stay on for 24 hours?

okay so i might be lactose intolerant but my mom isnt sure so she said i should go to the doctors and get tested. thing is, to get tested it requiers having blood taken from your arm...near your elbow [idk what its called] and i have kind of a fear of needles, especially ones that take blood. i was just wondering if its painful at all because well i hate needles.

This is my first full day on Yahoo Answers. I found this site googling information on the horrible panic attacks I am having.
I have asked and answered many questions since I joined.
I love this place so far.
I am just wondering, what type of human being has nothing better to do with there life than to thumb through subjects and answer very serious and life changing problems that are posted to just post very very ugly and hateful comments.
I guess we should be happy these horrible heartless people are at home posting ugly things to us and not out there killing people on the street.
I consider myself very much experienced in Life, but, I have to say I am very suprised that there are so many hateful people out there... I have seen these horrible people post mean and hateful things to people that are in very much need of positive comments and lagitamate help..
Its like they are serial killers , killing by the internet. Sick sick people that like to see others pain.

I found a better way, and it only takes 10 minutes morning and same in the afternoon. Simply, you RUN for 8 seconds, slow down to an easy walk for 12 seconds, then REPEAT the pattern. It loses a kilo or more a day. Diet with natural organic hi-fibre foods helps remove fat faster with this method. My room mate is very fond of my dog. Besides encouraging bad behavior, I am concerned about proper hygiene, and passing any immune related diseases.
My dog is very healthy otherwise. She has had all immunizations, etc., but I am wondering about spreading colds, or other contaminants that cause illness.

I have a friend who has CIN III (early stages on cervical cancer)and uses the solariums I belive that radiation (trust me they do give off radiation) from the solariums may affect the healing of these abnormal cells or make them worse, does anyone agree with this?? or have any other info ???

ok i was wondering i just stop taking lorcets after taking about two a day for 4 to 5 months. i slowly weened myself down and now i havent had any in about 2 almost three days . my question is how are the withdrawels gonna be and do i haVE anything to worry about .ive heard horrod stories of people having seizures while stopping taking medicine and i do not want that to happen to me any advice would help . thanks

I have had social anxiety disorder for about 5 years now. I have even filed for SSI because I just can't seem to overcome it, and it definately affects my day-to-day life. However my education is leading me to a very social career path, and I really need to work to get over this anxiety problem. I never used to be like this before I had my first child, and I don't know why I can't seem to shake it now. What sort of things can I do to possibly ease myself back into being social?

My aunt has cancer and has chemo each week. I called her today and told her that I would like to visit with her for a couple of hours each day, just to keep her company. She loved the idea.
We plan to read and study the Bible together and I will help with cooking/shopping/cleaning.

My parents are ill. I lost my job and bf. My life is a mess. I hate myself and I know if I wasn't under meds, I'd be crying really hard right now. This sad feeling is still here despite the meds though. I try to take care of my parents as best as I can but I am sad that I disappointed them (lost job, bf).

I am realy shy, and Always have been, but i cant get over it. An example would be like when I try to say things around a group of people, or people I dont know real well, i almost whisper, even if I try to speak loud. I dont have any problem with people I get to know, but new people I have trouble making friends with because I am so shy. Especially Girls, i have the worst problem with them, I have liked way too many girls and let them get away because my shyness.
