okay so i might be lactose intolerant but my mom isnt sure so she said i should go to the doctors and get tested. thing is, to get tested it requiers having blood taken from your arm...near your elbow [idk what its called] and i have kind of a fear of needles, especially ones that take blood. i was just wondering if its painful at all because well i hate needles.

I hate needles, too. And it is called venipuncture.
You can test if you have lactose intolerance by drinking a glass of milk. If you have bloating, diarrhea then you probably have Lactose Intolerance(LI). If you feel fine, then likely you are okay, no LI. If indeed, you have LI. You can easily remedy this by taking an enzyme sold at a drugstore lactozyme or dairy digestive supplement after every dairy product you ingest. Good Luck.

It will sting a bit. But it probably won't be as bad as you fear. You could close your eyes if you feel you really need to, and its usually over before you know.
