I have a friend who has CIN III (early stages on cervical cancer)and uses the solariums I belive that radiation (trust me they do give off radiation) from the solariums may affect the healing of these abnormal cells or make them worse, does anyone agree with this?? or have any other info ???

I don't believe solariums affect cervical cancer.

However, they do increase the risk of skin cancer.

If she is still undergoing treatment, she should check with her oncologist, it may interfere with radiation treatment and people undergoing chemotherapy are usually advised to avoid the sun!
