Okay so my dad was diagnosed with Colon cancer a year and a half ago. He immedietly had 95% of his large intestine taken out. After the surgery we were all waiting for him to pass gas. This means that the stomach is working. It took two weeks for this to happen. His stomach almost didn't start working and we almost had to put him on a feeding tube.

He has to go in for another surgery to get a colonoscopy bag because he had to stop radiation due to it was making his lining too thin. His wbc's are too low for chemo.

He is almost refusing surgery because he refuses to live a life on a feeding tube. The doctor said that there is a 80 % chance his stomach won't start up.My dad is only 50 and I need him around.

Is there other treatments besides radiation or chemo? What are the chances of his stomach starting back up after surgery..
How does a feeding tube work? can you drink?

I am running out of options and know very little about this.
Any information is helpful.

She got off birth control maybe five months ago, and her period is late when it was always like clockwork. She think she might have an ectopic pregnancy (very doubful unless she's 6 months along and didnt know it) or endometriosis. The doctor says they can induce her period for her, with Progest and other hormones.

Is that like the abortion pill ru-486 or whatever? ISn't that bad? I told her to tell them no but she's not sure what to do. If they induce her period, will it be painful? What do you think she is?

We thought it might be a bladder infection, but test says no.

ok so I have been having panic attacks for almost a year now I used to not even be able to leave my room and have since become better with that but I am VERY terrified of panicing during a thunderstorm because you cant Leave if there is one your kinda well stuck if you get my jist. I am scared of completely panicing and being unable to ease it. What can I do?? please I need answers soon I usually find ways to cope but theres supposed to be severe thunderstorms for the next night and day. Needless to say I already feel anxious in waiting. As well I work outside in a horse barn with a Tin roof VERY loud and frightnening but I Have to go to work so that REALLY REALLY terrifies me especially the getting there and back home again and not having my mom there makes me all the more anxious. I am 18 now and I should be living freely like everyone else my age but I cant even ride in cars with ppl. would take meds but IM Very afraid of side effects etc. I tried herbs but none have worked.help

ok i jus started to hav real dark poo. i am currently sick...im thinkin its a cold (a bit of fever, headache, low energy, whole body jus feels weak). could i get dark poo bcuz im sick? im not sure if i ate too much iron (i dont think so) and im not takin any medicine or anything. should i go to the doc? and how soon? if it is a bleeding ulcer then is this real dangerous for my health? will it require sugery?

I Don't know who I am. I feel like I'm two people. I have a nicer side of me that cares for people but I barely ever be that me anymore. Usually I act terrible and cruel and, I don't know what to do. I don't know why I act the way I do. And I don't know who I am anymore. I'm completly the sweet person I used to be. I don't know what changed or why it did.

Ok, I have been on Zoloft for a few years now 50mg. In the past month or two I have been feeling really bad. Having really bad panic attacks. When I went to the Dr. She upped my dose to 100mg. Within about 2 weeks I started having hand shakiness and feeling kinda out of it.
Went back to her today and she told me to start taking my zoloft everyother day instead of daily.
I am seriously thinking about just doing the 50mg daily again.
I also asked her to give me a prescription of Avtavan. for my panic attacks. I have recently taken these that a friend gave me that really helped when i was having an attack.
My Dr. told me No.. That medication was highly addictive and in a short time I could come to need it to get through the day.
So now what am I suppose to do when I have these horrible attacks?
I should add that changing Dr's will be hard. I have no insurence and this is a pay as you can clinic.

every morning i put my contacts on before school and for five minutes they burn so bad. i keep a towl on my eyes and a few minutes later thier normal. i just got Renu. And thier brand new contacts.

oh and by the end of the day at school they are sooo dry. i have Acuvue Advanced.

my mom doesnt no cuz then she;ll make me stop wearing them. cuz she always likes the easy way and not goin to the doctor or gettin new ****. its pretty annoying.


-is the burning normal? whats causing it?? how can i make it stop! &whats the best solution/contacts?

So I have pinkeye but my doctor thinks it might be a virus, so if its not cleared up by Monday then I have to go back to the doctor. He also said it might be herpes. So can you get herpes by just kissing someone or making out with someone? Or do you just get herpes by sexual contact?

i was recently diagnosed with general anxiety disorder, but i have to wait to go to the docter to get medicine for it. i'v been having these chest pains and thought it was just the anxiety.
but it's gotten really bad. like unstandable. whats wrong?
i had a huge panic attack yesterday and ever since this pain wont go away... it also feels like theirs someting stuck below my rib cage... thats the best way i can decscribe it. ughhh please help

I play sports and lift weight regularily and I get sore....is it okay to take aspirin everyday, and maybe twice a day???
