I personally think you are over-doing it with 2 a day at the same time. You should not be working out so hard that you constantly need pain meds. Some soreness is good. You know you are working your muscles when you are sore. If you are sooo sore that you need medication? Too hard.

Aspirin is just as dangerous a drug as any other. I recommend you have a talk with your physician to be sure this is good for you. I would also recommend Tylenol as a substitute. It is gentler on your stomach. And I think I heard excessive aspirin consumption can cause ulcers, although it is now coated to make it easier on your stomach.

I also believe the effect you think it is having on your energy level is in your head. Your work outs are increasing your metablolism and energy, not aspirin.

I know some doctors say it's ok to take aspirin everyday but the subject is debatable. I wouldn't take it everyday. Try to limit it. If you are so sore that you have to take it then you are working out too much. Give your muscles time to repair otherwise you could risk hurting yourself.

I am not a doctor, but you are obviously not taking too many aspirins. You may want to consider a buffered aspirin, though, as aspirin taken for too long can lead to stomach irritation or ulcers.

There's no problem with that, although the salicin will build up at different rates in different people. You might be excreting it all fine, but if your ears start to ring or if you get hearing loss, stop taking it for a while.
