My perfect salad is one without lettuce. I do love lettuce-mostly the shrub type greens but the perfect salad has all the other stuff without the lettuce...cucumbers, beets, tomatoes, corn, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, grated cheese, hard boiled egg slices or quarters, anything else would probably work too! then ranch dressing on the side to dip a few things into. Yum.

A mix of different lettuces, including baby spinach leaves, real bacon, onions, bellpeppers, carrots, cucumbers, lots of tomato and Ranch dressing. Maybe some crutons, cheese, and always club crackers.

I love Cobb salad with Avacado dressing and fried chicken strips.
Jalepeños always go good with buffet salads.
Most spinach leaf salads also taste great to me.

iceberg lettuce, grilled chicken, cucumbers, tomatoes, lite bacon bits (its ok to cheat a little if it's lite right?), crutons (ok more cheating), a few french fries (ok too much cheating, but you asked for the perfect salad), a mixture of sharp cheddar and mozzerella cheeses, and a good amount of fat free ranch dressing. wow, now i'm hungry!

I love baby spinach with a little romaine. Mandarin oranges and crumbled crisp bacon, sliced boiled eggs and a few sliced water chestnuts are a must. Sprinkle with pecans, and add your favorite dressing. Bleu cheese and the kithchen sink are optional.
