I jumped off a trampoline and i guess I landed wrong. It hurts even when I don't walk on it. It happened a week ago. I don't know how long a sprain takes to heal, so is it broken.

I am really into my girlfriend, but she says she finds it too painful to have me inside, so she prefers to do other things. I am getting frustrated by this. She's quite a petitle girl, which is what I like. But would it be the case that taller, larger girls can handle it more?

This was the first time I was ever told his, but I just recently had blood tests done, & the doctor said my iron was "a little" low but not that bad. & he prescribed me iron pills. Does that classify me as being "anemic", or is it that my iron would have to be chronically low for me to be considered "anemic"?

I hate to admit i, but since going sober over a year ago my life has been empty and crap.I would have continued on over using meds (Xanax, etc) if it wasn't for the fact that my family ratted me out to my doctor. Now I get NOTHING. I don't drink or do anything, and quite frankly nothing that I do during the course of the day is as satisfying as simply taking pills or drinking. I now think that it was a mistake to go sober. Any thoughts? Perhaps someone who has gone through this can comment? Should I just go back to meds?

father died last year, at his funeral my uncle sat by me and he died the next day. Then my fav uncle died in Sept, then my 25 year old sister died in Oct. It's now almost a year later and I'm still not right. Will counselling truelly helpped this lost soul?

The other day i was in school and suuddenly i began feeling very dizzy. I went to the nursery and she asked me what was happening. I began explaining her and suddenly y lost concioussness, but regained inmediateley after 2 or 3 seconds. Could you please tell me if i fainted or collapsed? What is a collapse? I lost the man I loved suddenly and unexpectedly in January 2007. My heart is breaking and I feel so sad and lonely without him. I just don't know how to cope with all the mixed emotions I am going through. I seem to have good and bad days, and the bad days, like today, are unbearable. My family are supporting me, but they just don't know what to say to me to make things better.

Can anyone suggest anything to help me get through this?

I can't understand why I am so ashamed of having this crappy disease. It is not like I calused it. I am embarrassed I guess. So many people stay in the closet for many years before speaking out. With cancer people tell everyone immediately with MS people tell people when it is absolutely necessary

I am5'5", and 120 lbs., which I maintain rather easily with running, walking, yoga, etc. I do have, however, this nasty "roll" of flabby skin which lies right above my hip bones, encircling my waist, that will not go away no matter how many crunches/sit ups I do. Does anyone have any suggestions on exercises that may help with this? Diet wise, I am mostly vegetarian, except when I succumb to the occasional slice of bacon....

I was offered a Nurse's Aide job in a Nursing Home a few days ago...... the money I was offered is awesome and I can not wait to start.
I was talking to the lady that hired me about how I got drug tested for a job I applied a few months ago and how the lost my paperwork and I had to drive back to the testing site over an hour away to get re-tested and how much of a pain in the butt that was cuz someone screwed up at the lab.
She laughed at first butt then said she would have been furious if that happened to her.
Anyways... she told me not to worry that they don't do drug testing but I did have to go for a pre-employment physical.
MY QUESTION IS >
What is a pre-employment physical like for a Nursing Home? I've never had a pre-employment physical for a job.... only had drug testing if anything.
If drug testing is not part of it then what else will they do?
Any ideas?
