I'm a fainter. I'm a thin person with low blood pressure. I have fainted when hungry, tired, and when I have abdominal pain. This began when I was 12 (I am now 42). I've also gotten vertigo (dizziness) from dehydration.

Talk with your parents, perhaps seeing a doctor would be a good idea. Other reasons for fainting could involve the brain, so it might be a good idea to check it out.

When you feel faint, either lie down with your feet up for a bit, or sit with your head between your knees. It can be hard to know, because right before I faint I feel like I need to vomit, so I've passed out standing over the toilet or on my way quite a bit.

It figures that a collapse is longer in duration and severe with needing medical attention immediately.
Fainting is passing out...recovery is imminent/ in my time they always had smelling salts for passing out.
