I jumped off a trampoline and i guess I landed wrong. It hurts even when I don't walk on it. It happened a week ago. I don't know how long a sprain takes to heal, so is it broken.

You need HELP! With any normal person, they would go to the DOCTOR if they thought something was broken or sprained. Try that Brainless.

Yes, it could be broken and you still walk on it.
No, it doesn't have to necessarily swell to be broken.
But if it is just a sprain, it will heal faster if its splinted and you stay off it a while.
AND NO, IT IS NOT A STUPID QUESTION TO ASK.
Good luck!

if it was broken i doubt if you could walk on it, but i suppose something like a hairline fracture could exist and you would still be able to walk, you should have xrays done soon, and sprains take like forever to heal and the dr. told me that they can sometimes hurt worse than a break, ice, heat, ace bandage, elevate your leg, use crutches, ibuprofen for the pain and swelling if there is any, and see a dr.........good luck to you

You might have a hairline fracture. A sprain would be down in your ankles or feet.

I've had a few sprains, and they took about a week to heal.

If there is swelling you have a fracture. Go to the emergency room for an xray and testing to make sure. You don't want it to escalate into something more detrimental.
