When you have recurrent headaches, you probably have migraines and/or are being repeatedly exposed to something which is a trigger for your headaches.
You need to be seen by your doctor. If you have been seeing a doctor, then you need to see a specialist in headache management.
Before you see the doctor go to the following website:
www.headaches.org
go to the consumer section and open the educational resources tab
you will find a headache diary, with instructions for filling it out, this helps to determine your type of headache pattern and possible triggers.
The most common triggers are sleep disturbance, light exposure, computer use, and dietary factors (including caffeine intake)
There is a list of dietary triggers under the educational resource tab also.
Finally, see the page on How To Talk To Your Headache Doctor. It can guide you to the type of information the doctor needs to help you.
Also if you have more than 2 headaches every month you may need headache prevention treatment. There are prescription medications which are effective for this, but you may do well with naturopathic prevention. If you go to a health food and supplement store they can guide you in the things which you can try.
The best home treatment is to take paracetamol and lie down in a darkened room with either soft music or no sound.
You may do well with biofeedback which is my personal method for managing headaches, or accupuncture has been shown to be effective for a segment of the population.
Do not have any chiropractic or manipulation of the head and/or neck until you see the doctor, manipulation can be effective but may be dangerous in some forms of headaches.
Do not take anyone elses prescription headache remedies, as the side effects can be severe and life threatening if inappropriate for your condition.
There is always a reason and treatment for your headaches if you see a qualified practitioner.

I can tell you the best way in the world, but I don't think you are strong enough to do it? Go to the herb store and get a few ounces of the hottest cayenne (chili) powder you can buy, it will usually be around 80 to 100,000 heat units. Mix a quarter, half or full teaspoon, whatever you can take in a cup of pure warm water. Drink a cup of this at least three times a day. In five days if you keep doing this, you will never have any types of headaches ever again. It works by thinning the blood to the consistency of ink, which is real thin. Then your brain gets all the oxygen it needs to function at peak capacity. Ergo, no more headaches.

I feel your pain, I have had severe migraines since I was 12 years old! What kind of headache is it? The symptoms of a migraine are severe headache, photophobia (sensitivity to light) and nausea. They can feel like you are going to die. They can rebound, which is what it sounds like is happening. Try excedrine migraine and a cold cloth over your eyes. Go into a dark room and try to sleep it off. If this doesn't work, you might want to go to the doctor and discuss treatments. They will probably suggest also getting an MRI and MRA, but this is common with onset of bad headaches.
Unfortunately, this is all assuming it's a migraine. If it is something else, add it to your description and I will try to help you out with that.
Hope it helps!

If you have them that frequently, you should see a doctor and get yourself checked out. I suffer from migraines quite often and they can be debilitating. I find though, that if I drink a lot of water everyday and eat fruits and veggies everyday, they don't occur as often.
Aspartame, which is used in a lot of diet products, can be the culprit, as well. a lot of people are allergic to it without even knowing. But cutting it out of your daily intake, can really make a difference. It did with me.
Another culprit can be caffeine, if your used to taking in caffeine and then cut back, that will produce a headache, as well. It's the withdrawel from the caffeine that gives you a headache.
Hope this helps out.:-)

I would recommend consulting a doctor.
Depending on your situation they can recommend an aspirin regiment or other program to control constant headaches.
I would also consider what has been going on over the weeks that you have headaches. Has any of your habits changed? Do you eat on a regular basis? Have stress levels increased? Normally it is something that you are doing. There is always a variable.

if you don't want to keep taking tablets you could try lavender oil on your temples or forhead. Or try squeezing and massaging the fleshy bit at the base of the thumb, for some reason this seems to help the pain, it must be a pressure point!!!!

It could be tension, eyestrain, migraine or several other causes.
Get a check up with your GP.
Excessive use of painkillers, can actually CAUSE headaches in some people.

I take it you have tried every thing, have you tried spirit healing, Glen Hoddle swears by it, worth a try. Last week a friend of mine had healing for her back at a Pentecostal
Church and it really helped a lot.
