I think I've been exhibiting some of symptoms of diabetes (examples: extreme thirst, frequent urination, headaches, etc.) and when I mentioned it to a friend (who is obv. not a doctor) she didn't seem to think I had diabetes. She has a friend who does and he exhibits the classic symptoms everyone thinks of associated with diabetes: typically a "drunk", woozy and lethargic feeling when the blood sugar is low. Now, I do NOT have symptoms like THAT, however after doing research there are those that I do have -- actually what seems like quite a large majority.

Are there any doctors out there who might be able to answer my question? I hate going to the doctor's with a list of symptoms, ready to produce my own diagnosis.

And I am not a hypocondriac. My mother, who hated going to the doctors, died of a sudden stroke while she had no known health problems. I think she may have been diabetic because a stroke is a complication, and she also had glaucoma and possibly high bloodpressure.

Do you have favorite workout type clothing you regularly wear to the gym? Why do you like this outfit so much to sweat in? Could it be you live alone and have a home gym, so maybe you workout shirtless...nude, etc? ;)

I'm 21, took a blood test for pregnancy, it was negative. I accidently skipped 3 or so days on my birth control pills and stopped taking them and planned to start taking them again when I had my next period- which has not come since. I don't know if that is the reason or not. My Mom tells me its because I lost so much weight- but I lost all the weight like 1 1/2 almost 2 years ago, would that still effect my cycle? I'm not really having any stress.. any help is appreciated!

i started the las time i had my period. i gained a little wieght during that time. i'm not stressed, overwieght, or way too active. why havent i still had me period?

I need the name of a good antidepressant. I was taking Wellbutrin SR up until last june. I thought I was "better" but slowly I've realized how my mood has changed. I'm angry and b***hy ALL the time. I hate my job (more so) and people in general make me sick.

Lately I've taken to "saying what's on my mind" which for me...isn't always a good thing. Like, i telling one of my supervisors or GM's to go F* themselves almost daily. Or I feel like crying.

I just hate everyone and everything. I've been so horrible that I've basically pushed this guy I've been going out with into some other (nicer) girls arms.

Anyhow, im seeing a new doctor and I just wanted to know of some REALLY good AD's (aside from WB sr)

My mom is 64 & has been steadily declining in memory & behavior since 1990 or so. She's visiting me from back east & I'm wondering if she's losing it!

Here's some of the stuff she's been doing & only getting worse:

**She constantly repeats herself. If you remind her, she'll just keep going & tell you not to listen or ignore her
**She talks about the past whenever she opens her mouth
**She has about 5 subjects that she talks about & won't come into the "present" without going back into the "past"
**She will provoke arguments & then pretend like she did nothing wrong or change the subject immediately
**She'll ask for something and then say "never-mind".
**She won't walk to the corner by herself out of some "fear" but won't say what it is.

She is a staunch Christian, however, and can engage you in religion, Jesus, or the bible like Freud or Einstein.

What GIVES?

I'm looking for a website that sells contact lenses where I don't need to have my doctor approval.
I went and had an eye check a little less than a year ago and tried to buy contacts on 1800-contacts.com, but they told me the eye check I had was different from getting your eyes checked for contacts. I don't want to have to pay for another eye doctor visit. So does anyone know a website that won't ask for this information?

I am so jealous of my boyfriend's ex-wife. I know it is wrong, but it drives me insane. I am upset that he married her, I don't think that he can outdo his wedding. It sounds like it was a beautiful wedding, the kind I would have wanted. However, he had that moment with her and it can't be repeated, imitated or reproduced. I am afraid that if he proposed I would be unhappy, that it would feel like when somebody already wasted the "surprise" for a party on someone else...then you walk in and get the afterwave "awe...surprise!!!". So I think I have some psychological issues, or at the minimum extreme low self-esteem...obvoiusly. It all makes sense, I was sexually abused when I was 7 years old. Sometimes I think I may have Borderline Personality Disorder. Anyway, I love him and he's a great guy. I don't want to hurt him anymore...I have issues. So I think of leaving him quite often. He deserves better, he deserves a good wife. The problem is..I think he already had her.

My 3 year old never had a mosquito bite until about 2 months ago, when she got one on her upper arm. I didn't think much of it and when she woke up the next morning it was the size of a quarter. I thought it was pretty big, but by the time I picked her up from daycare, it was about the size of a golf ball and really hot to the touch. I took her to the dr, who put her on antibiotics. Well she came home from daycare yesterday with many mosquito bites (after using repellent with deet 2x within the afternoon)and they are all swelling up again. Do you think she is allergic? Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions. They aren't swollen as bad as last time, but I am hoping I can figure something out before they get that bad.

I had the LEEP procedure done a year and a half ago to remove some abnormal cells from my cervix. Ever since then, everytime I have sex I bleed and cramp....and it obviously is not nearly as enjoyable. The doctors don't seem to be concerned that I am still bleeding and having these problems...I am frustrated...obviously....
Has anyone else had this happen or know why this may be happening? Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
