I'm looking for a website that sells contact lenses where I don't need to have my doctor approval.
I went and had an eye check a little less than a year ago and tried to buy contacts on 1800-contacts.com, but they told me the eye check I had was different from getting your eyes checked for contacts. I don't want to have to pay for another eye doctor visit. So does anyone know a website that won't ask for this information?

You have to get info for contacts from a doctor because everyones eyes are a little different so it's not like getting glasses. If you were to find a place that would let you order, the contacts probably wouldn't fit right or help your vision properly.

Nope, no way around it. They are following the law. Even for lenses with no power, you need a prescription for them. A prescription doesn't mean the lenses have to have power. Even PLANO lenses are still a medical device and are controlled by law.

No,
You wouldn't want to risk the health of your eyes anyway.
