She has TB and my brother coughs a lot when she is staying with us. He is totally fine after she leaves and she stays for like a month every 3 months.

this is my guess, if your g-mother has TB then she coughs alot. coughing can be a mimcked thing, even without realizing it. you hear someone else cough and you cough, you may not even know it and if someone asks you you may not even remember. But considering he is fine when she's gone and considering she is probably taking medication i would guess your brothers body is just mimcking hers. nothing to be worried about
