I've been on the Atkins Diet for four years, and am able to eat my weight in cheese. I lost almost 30 lbs., and have as yet gained a pound. But, ask your doctor first.

Try getting the low-fat string cheese. One or two of those a day should give you all the dairy you need without any of the negative side effects

*Most* cheeses have "kasomorphins" which are a feel-good chemical.
Dadamo writes that some cheeses are bad for you, while others are good, and it depends (to some extent) on your blood type.

Cheese isn't really that good for you at all . Doesn't offer much in terms of nutrition and it's high in fat. It has calcium but since it has so much fat you're better of drinking skim milk .
You're better off avoiding cheese.

Stick to lowfat cheese and you should be okay...good source of calcium, but a lot of fat/calories in 'regular' cheese.

Cheese is nothing but fat, it contains no nutritional value at all.... if you have a high metabolism and your young you can eat it and your body will burn it off. If you are overweight you can eat it sparingly.
