we are about to go to the beach and im afraid to get my period because i wont be able to go in the ocean and have fun! i hate it because its irregular (last one was 22 days apart and one b4 that was almost 40!) i want to start taking birth control but i dont know how to convince the rents! also, is it common for a 16 yr old to be on birth control? please help we leave friday and im nervous and dont want it to come!

Throughout my teenage years, I have gradually gained weight. I have tried exercising more, not drinking soda, not eating nearly as many carbs as I've used to, even drastically limiting my portions, but to no avail. Now, at 21, 5ft 0in tall, 200lbs and about to get married, I really want the weight off. Please help.

Honestly I used to have a drug problem and one binge I got a sore on my nostril, right between the nose and lip. Now every time I get sick ( I have been sikc for the last 3 days) and my nose gets raw from blowing it I get a sore there again. What will help it go away faster? I can't go to the Dr. waiting for medical insurance

I am 16 years old and have had my peirod for over five years i know how a cramp feals.but about two months ago i was on my peirod and i was hurting soo bad in my right ovrie area and it was to the point nothing would take the pain away.it was so bad i could not walk and i would cry out in pain..my mom wanted to take me to the doctor but i would not go because i was scared they would tell me i was having bad cramps..well now im having the same kind of pain again and im not due to start my period for another two weeks?should i go see a doctor?what could be wrong with me?

My mom had an endoscopy and was diagnosed with H. pylori bacteria. She doesnt have an Ulcer, just the bacteria, they prescribed her antibiotics. her symptoms were Nausea and Dizziness that got better with taking an anti anxiety medicine. She was like that for 2 1/2 weeks. Do you think the H. Pylori caused the Nausea, or do you think it was just anxiety and stress. She has been really depressed and weepy lately, and before this happened, she was very stressed and anxious. So it might be that?

I've been reading a lot on granola bars (oats) the chewy kind, and I know that they have a lot of carbs on them, like 22g or so per bar, and arn't bad for calories...like 170 calories per bar.

Are they a good source of carbs? If not, what else would be a nice handy snack that isn't REALLY expensive (like protein bars)??

Every since i started this new job my period has been different. Im not sure if it's from the stress of not. But I used to get it every month for 7 days and it was normal now it's not. Last month i didn't get a period. Never took a prego test because I KNEW it wasn't that. Well now this month I've been on my period for a good 2 weeks and nothing has changed. I really wanted to go into the doctor and get on Birth Control but I'm just super scared.. MORE than I can explain. Sprained my ankle 1 month ago. It was a bad sprain with bruising and a lot of swelling. The pain has subsided for the most part. However, the pain initially was on the outer side of my ankle and now the pain is radiating up the inner side of the ankle. I had an xray done by an orthopedist and it showed nothing. Should I ask for an MRI? There is still some light swelling. It is so frustrating waiting for this to heal and now I'm getting nervous something is wrong with it or it didn't heal properly.
