I have braces so I've rarely ever flossed, maybe once a week. My dentist told me to floss some more because my gums aren't healthy and they bleed when they're flossed (I don't have gingivitis or anything).

So I decided to floss twice a day, and a few days later my gums looked like they had cuts from flossing too hard. They don't bleed as much as they did a few days back though, so that's a good thing. Should I still continue to floss?

My son had to get lab work today and he got stuck twice. I notice the after the first stick the phlebotomist threw away the equipment in the biohazard box and touched the rim with a bunch of dried blood. She didn't change her gloves and continued to stick my son. She wiped the site with alcohol but then proceded to feel for the vein and didn't wipe the site again. It happened so fast and I wondered if I'm being paranoid but now that I think about it I can't get it out of my head that my son might contract something. What can be passed on with dried blood. What are the chances please anyone respond thank you.

i am 10 years old. i am going through puberty. i already have my period since 9 years old and everything. but i don't wear a bra! i want one sooooooooo bad!!!!!!!! i don't know how to ask my mom! i am scared to ask her. i am going for a yearly doctor check up in a couple of weeks. i want him to tell my mom i need a bra so she will get me one. (i really want padded but i'll wear training too) i have breasts but my nipples are not dark or bigger than usual. (i heard that's what happens before you grow breasts) i have full breasts but they don't have dark nipples or big nipples! how do i make them bigger?

p.s. how old were you when you got your period. how did you respond to it. how did you ask your mom for a bra. other details too! =]

my feet all of a sudden are very painful on the outside of both feet,it hurts when I walk,pain medication does take it away,However all my life I have had these to small bumps in the middle on the outside of each foot and this is where it hurts the most even when touching it.I bought new shoes a while back and the right foot started hurting ,thinking it was my shoes I bought another pair of shoes and within one day the other foot was hurting too.They are two different kinds of shoes.Both were brand new,I stand all day,however have never hadthis before .Anyone know what this might be?Do arch problems effect the outer part of the foot too?Sometimes it hurts on the bottom of my feet too.I am a normal weight female in her middle fourties

I'm 28 and very depressed. I don't enjoy life. Nothing really bad has happened to me so I don't feel like i have an excuse.
I dont enjoy anything. I don't like sex and i'm not even enjoying things I used to. I'm bored in my job but I don't like anything enough to decide what else to do. I earn a lot of money but I don't even care. I eat without thinking and do lots of exercise as its the only thing i can do. I'm not good at anything and I never learn from my mistakes. I have no motivation to do anything. I have tried anti-depressants and counselling and I understand everything they are saying but I don't get how to make my life better. I don't know how to stand up for myself and I do things because other people tell me to. I feel like i'm waiting for something to happen because i don't know how to do anything for myself. I want an instant result. I cannot wait any longer. I feel like i'm going mad sometimes and other times i just dont want to be here. HELP ME PLEASE

I have a small knot in the area pubic hair grows in. No it is not an STD, and do not even answer if you aren't for sure or serious. I was thinking it was an ingrown hair, but wouldn't that hurt to the touch? I can grab the skin and feel the entire knot, its about a third of a marble, no pain. Could it be a sist?

ok well i exercise everyday for about 2 1/2 hours
but i cannot control my eating problem and i cannot go
on a diet or eat healthy food!
i also eat alot of junk food! so its gonna be hard to control!

can u still lose weight if u exercise but don't eat right?
or does diet count to?

I was playing basketball the other day, felt fine the whole time I was playing, but afterwards started getting pain in lower back. Its the second day now and the pain is still there. It doesn't really hurt to bend back, it just keeps me from standing straight up. It kinda keeps me hunched forwards. I have had problems with lower back pain before. The closest thing I can compare it to is sometimes when I stand up (rare) after sitting for awhile I can't standu completely straight, but I am able to walk that off in just a minute or two. Also, my lower back feels swollen, if that helps at all. Anyone know what is going on and how long it will last?
