My anxiety is getting so bad ive had it a year now and ive avoided medication up untill this piont ive only been taking the meds two days but they are making me feel sick its like an acidy feeling and i feel all hot in my head and chest is this just me being paranoid about this or should i stop taking the medication. I couldnt even leave the house yesterday.

Im taking lexapro 10mg everymorning
And yesterday went into a panic so took a xanax and that seemed to bring me back down but i had a headache as if it was like a mild hangover or something. Im not sure if its just me making a big deal out of it coz the doctor said they take a week to work and that if they make me feel worse to let him know.
Has anyone taken this med before?

im a sophomore nursing student and my professor is asking me that question, im having a hard time finding the answer coz the internet is full of useless things which are getting in the way of my search..

an example of this is a patient who is unconcious and brought to the ER, lost a lot of blood...but while looking in his wallet, you see that he is a jehovah`s witness, and it clearly states that they have a "NO BLOOD" policy...
so what do you do?

I went to a athletic camp last week and somehow managed to pull my toenail off. I was doing fine until a few days after, when I started having extreme pain. I have had constant pain ever since even though I ice it a good bit and take asprin. I think That it may be an ingrown toenail. Any Idea how to deal with it?

i have been doing a little research recently on the results of overdosing on paracetamol (panadol).. i have taken up to and including 50,000mg of paracetamol at a single time.. been given parvolex as the antidote, but i have read that you can still be effected in years to come with liver failure.. is this true? can anyone give me information about this..

I've been on my pill which is a combined pill called Femodette for about 5 months now. Last month i skipped my week break and therefore skipped my period as i didn't want my period during exams. Now when i have come off my pill for my 7 day break, my period is a day late. When it usually comes exactly at the same time on the 3rd day of not taking pills. I've taken my pills perfectly - i'm very careful, and i have only had sex once during the now almost 2 months.
Would my period be a bit late due to the fact i took a pack back to back, and skipped my period on purpose?

I just got a new job that requires me to stand (no walking, just standing) for 7+ hours straight. I have very bad back problems & the first day wrecked my back. How can I prevent the pain for when I go into work today?


PS: I can't ask for a position where I don't have to stand, all of the lower positions there require me to stand for a long period of time.

Im 16 and im 5'7 i know people gon say i will grow BUT, my dad is 5'5 his dads 5'5 and my moms 5'0 her mom is also 5'0 but her dads 6'0 LOL, so ye its kinda hard to tell what im going to be, my dad told me when he was in gr 10 he stopped growing at 5'5, so what do u guys think...how much more could i possibly grow and am i too short?

I have had irregular cycles for as long as I can remember. When I was a teen I would skip a month here and there. Now I tend to bleed for 3 weeks or so out of a month. The last time I went to a doctor for it was over 2 years ago and he prescribed hormone pills which seemed to work at the time. I recently found out they could do a DNC for it, but probably won't since I do not have medical insurance. Anyway, this last go around with it I bled pretty heavy (through super plus absorbency tampons every 45 minutes to an hour). One of the clots wasn't the normal stringy kind. It was kind of hard and had some small white thing attached to it. I checked it out and the white thing was pliable but held together. Does anyone have any idea what that could have been?

i've been having a busy week and the day i was supposed to take out my nuva ring i just totally forgot. i'm nervous because all over the website and box it says 'do not leave in excess of three weeks' and i'm wondering if there's anything i should be aware of in this kind of situation. Attempted to call gynecologists as well, but as it's the weekend it has been to no avail.
