I read in a health mag at the doctors surgey that it helps with pms/pmt (whatever it's called). I eat healthily, am active but am cursed with hormones. Will green tea help? On the box it said 'helps aid digestion', what else does it do?

There are thousands of proven and tested medicines made from chemicals that can be reproduced exactly each time. Why use alternative medicine? Nature can't teach us anything new.

I have been struggling to get a post nasal drip to stop after I had a respiratory infection around two weeks ago. (sore throat, sore chest etc).
Normally, If I have a cold, it disappears totally in around 4-5 days. My trouble is that I do not seem to be able to shake this infection off.
I can go about my day to day tasks at work but have to go to the loo and do a loud nose blow around 6 times per day.
It's faurly thick and clear but with a slight lime colour. I'm also swallowing continually as I just cant deal with it another way in an office.
My energy levels are also not what they should be.
Can anyone offer good advice on what is causing this and what to take to clear it up?
I would prefer not to take sinutab and the like and would like to get to the root of the problem.
I'm taking plenty of vitamin C etc to fight it off but it does not seem to be doing the usual trick.
Thanks to anyone who may have some sensible or professional advice! :-)

Why is it that sugar is freely available to a greater majority of people, and if it makes most children are hyper active why is it that there is not public education on sugar and link to openly available drugs?

I have stuck rigidly to a diet of 1000 - 1200 calories per day for over 3 weeks now and I still have lost NOTHING. I have been drinking 2 litres of water a day, have stopped drinking tea and coffee. I can't take much exercise because I have 2 very small children. I have made sure my food choices are healthy (e.g. raw fruit and veg) and have had no biscuits, chocolate etc. What am I doing wrong, I feel immensely deflated. I know it is not my thyroid because I had it checked, what else could be wrong?

...or shave or do anything "down there"?
do guys (or other people) find that repulsive, like not shaving your legs? it never occurred to me that it might be an issue until now, when it seems like everybody does it.....does anybody not?

I Recently (the 17th) had an abscess on my tonsil, i had to go to the hospital and i got my first IV and it scared me.

The next day (the 18th) they sent me to get it drained. This was scary and painful seeing how they used a syringe while i was wide awake.

I went back yesterday for a check up, and the doctor said that on a scale of 1-4 my tonsils are 3+. And he told me i need to get them removed or else i'll just get another abscess.

Im terrified. Im getting them removed july 24th, and im scared to death. Like I wanna cry kind of scared.

What if the anestheic doesnt work?
How bad Will the Pain be?
What should i expect?

I really am scared to death so i want the truth, not candy coated.

I'm 23 yrs old, I haven't been on birth control pills for a little over a year now. I don't feel like being on them. I don't have sex often, VERY seldom, nor do I really care to "hookup". I don't really have any desire to. Most women are on birth control, that I've talked to, even girls younger than me, it just seems like everyone is on them. I'm not a big fan of casual sex, as many women seem to be. I won't say I've never done it, but it's just not my thing, so I prefer not to have to pay for and have to remember to take birth control pills, when I know I most likely won't have sex...maybe 1 time....during the next 6months. And I always use a condom anyway, during those rare occasions. Honestly, I was on birth control from the time I was 18-22yrs old, and I really feel like sex is overrated. I've been there, done that, not amused anymore. Am I just weird? Or does anyone feel the same? Should I get on the pill anyway? Thanks.

K so i've never experienced pain from sex, even on my first time.. but for the last month or so, i've had a burning painful feeling on penetration that actually makes me cringe...
sex is usually fine after that, sometimes a bit sore but usually ok.
we use lube so i don't think it's too dry... and we've been tested for std's and they were all negative... and it's not a yeast infection... :S
could it just be cut up from sex?
because that's never happened before and my boyfriend and i had more sex in the beginning of our relationship than we do now anyways...
I don't know what to do, because it's making me feel like not having sex just because i worry about feeling that pain.
any ideas????

I'm 14 and I read about how to use a tampon. I know how to use a tampon, actually. But when I do push it up there. It doesnt really feel comfortable. Do I need to push it up more or what?

Can you also pop with tampons? Question just popped up. Haha.
