You're in the same position as one of my nephews.
That is a whole lot of weight to lose. But what you need to do is start NOW, even if you never go out for the team.
Stop drinking sodas. Drink water instead, lots of it.
Eat sensibly, but avoid fried foods and junk foods as much as you can.
Eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables for snacks. And try to get a good supply of whole-grain breads. Those are actually pretty tasty!
That covers the food: Now for the exercise. Get a good pair of shoes and walk a lot. Once you start feeling a bit stronger, find a good cardio work-out.
If there is a pool in your area, swim a lot. That is also good exercise, and the water will help support your weight some.

OK, so i advise you to hit the gym 3-5 times a week and start working out for 1 hour . lift some weights, do some cardio and that should get you into shape in no time at all.

It is time to go on a diet, eat fruits and drink plenty of water, meats and junk food will only make you bigger.
