What age do you live in that you cannot go in the ocean and have fun when you are on your period? That makes no sense.

Talk to your mother about taking you to the Dr for the Pills, if they would prescribe them. But then again you couldn't get to the Dr and get the pills started and in effect before Friday.

So take your tampons some Excedrin and Have a great vacation.

You can't do anything now to make it not come.

Don't be scared. Use a tampon if you plan on going in the water on your period.

Younger girls get on birth control to regulate their period as well as lessen the cramps and the flow (I got on it for that reason!).

Edit:

The whole "omg period and sharks" thing is ridiculous. There are no records stating that women on their period get attacked more often than women NOT on their period. IMO its just a scare tactic.

Sharks are NOT attracted to menstrual flow.

And to be extra arranged, i could purchase some pads properly suited now. So, in case your someplace that doesn't have pads, you have got one on your handbag. and additionally you would be waiting! yet dont situation approximately no longer getting it. considering you will. And each little thing would be in simple terms positive:) stable good fortune hun!

Just pack tampons!

About the bith control:
I'm 17 and I started when I was 15, so it's not a big deal. I recomend talking to your mom first because she'll understand.

Good luck!!!

if you've already had yours this month, you don't really need to worry about it. but if it makes u feel safer, you should take along a few tampons. you might want to use a tampon before u go to the beach so no accidents will happen.
