Honestly I used to have a drug problem and one binge I got a sore on my nostril, right between the nose and lip. Now every time I get sick ( I have been sikc for the last 3 days) and my nose gets raw from blowing it I get a sore there again. What will help it go away faster? I can't go to the Dr. waiting for medical insurance

There is a nutritional supplement called L-Lysine, which works miracles for cold sores. Also in stores they sell abreva and many other things to use to reduce the severity and duration of cold sores.

Once you do go to the dr. get Zovirax and Valtrex. I personally use Zovirax when I first feel it coming on and it works immediately for me. I end up only having a small spot that lasts a day or 2.

Btw, there are free clinics most everywhere that could help you with medical costs.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/HerpesCures2o15OzwB

Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

There are anti-viral medications that you can get from some supermarkets and pharmacies. One is Zovirax, which apparently works well. But there are herbal cures that work too. Do you know anyone who has candula flowers in their garden? The bright orange ones are best. Just squeeze a few petals between your fingers and put the juice on the sore - anti-viral and speeds healing. My daughter did this and it cleared in 3 days. Best to do it at night, as it does leave an orange mark. Teatree oil is supposed to help too.
Then look at your diet and sleep patterns, as you said you get more break outs when sick.

You can buy Carmex or Abreva. For future coldsores there are things you can do to prevent them, or lessen the severity. When you feel that tingly feeling on your lip that you get before youget a cold sore, put ice on it. If this doesnt prevent it all together, it will at least make it smaller.
