long story and limited space, so i'll try to keep this brief.

- Motion sickness since Aug. '06, mostly in the car, bus was ok, Sept., woke up with vertigo
- Went to doc, got anti-nausea meds, didn't help, switched to ginger root, that seemed to control the motion sickness
- April '07, motion sickness worse, car, bus, even elevator, didn't go out much, limited to walking everywhere
- May, pain, pressure, tinnitus in my right ear, which is weird since I was born completely deaf in that ear (left ear is normal)
- Woke up with vertigo twice, 2 weeks apart
- Braved the bus and went back to see my doc, he gave me a presciption for betahistine, which I've been taking for the past 10 days.
- Bus ride home from that trip was bad, vision loss, almost passed out, haven't traveled since
- Since that ride, 10 days ago, the vertigo has been non stop, from everday to every 30 sec.,keep waiting for meds to work but they haven't yet.
- some double vision, eyes rolling

I understand that I can't ask for prayers, so any suggestions on what to do for a sore hip. I'm only 44 and my hip hurts in the back of the left socket and the pain and numbness is radiating down the leg. I had to leave work because I can't stand on it.

Any suggestions on what I can do for the pain until I can see the doctor in the morning? My hip hurts too much to even go to sleep!

HELP!I was on zoloft for about a year. Increased my apetite and gained more than 36 pounds. I am asian, 5'4 and used to weight 130 pounds which was pretty standard for me (i thought that was a bit heavy because i received comments that i wasn't think enough). NOw i would be ever so thankful to be 130 again. Instead, I am now 166 pounds. I feel like a beach whale. I've never been this heavy before. None of my clothes fit.

On zoloft, I've gained weight gradually over the months, but lately for the past 3-4 months, I've gained like 10 pounds a month, sometimes 5 pounds a week. It is so scarry!

Ever since i got up to 100mg, i've gained weight like crazy. I cannot stop it and i think its gonig to keep going up. So i've stop zoloft cold turkey. I know it is bad and i should consult my doctor, but i feel more depressed than ever because i am so much fatter. I want to be normal again. Can anyone recommend anything? Anything at all?

my first period was on 29th of Jan 2007. it continued till second of feb. it then stopped until mid march for 2 days. since then it never came again.

ie. it's been 3 months and i didn't get my period again. is it just irregular or smthng is wrong??

p.s. i'm still getting the mucus kind of stuff (vaginal discharge i think it's called.) and i'm still 13 turning 14 this september.

Hi! I am scheduled for an apicoectomy a week from today and scared out of my mind! I've never had "laughing gas" (though I have some slight lung issues), so I'm scared of that, as well.

Does anyone have some advice on what to expect, what to do to prepare, etc. Can I request that just a normal sedative that the doctor sugested be used to "calm me" instead of the gas? he said that I'd be awake, but I've had lots of problems on "calming" meds such as Ambien (manic happy wacky behavior / memory loss, etc.) and I just don't feel comfortable with the gas.

Thanks a lot for answering - anyone who has any experience would be helpful!

My friend's dad got infected by HIV a year ago thru exposed cuts. Then the mother got infected a week ago by using her dad's shaving blades. I dunno if she is infected. I love her as my friend and i hope that she didnt but I'm aware of my health too. I'm scared of getting infected. Is there anyways I could avoid n prevent myself from getting it? 1 thing for sure is that i dont want to stop hanging out with her!
