I'd have to say getting raped by someone with HIV, or being born with it.

Through contaminated blood. Tennis great Arthur Ashe got AIDS through contaminated blood during heart surgery and passed away at an early age. Definitely sad and unfair.

We had a missionary from the LDS (mormon) church that was serving in a 3rd world country. One of the mission rules for our church is that you aren't suppose to give blood while you are on your mission. Ignoring that, he went and gave blood. But unfortunatly, it wan't clean. And he got HIV from giving blood. It was so heartbreaking when he came home. He ment well but he didn't follow what he was suppose to. And because of that one mistake, he has suffered.

There is no fair way to get HIV.

The saddest way I have seen is when a newborn is born with it. Very bad way to start out life.

A guy I knew gave mouth to mouth to his pet mosquito, which had nearly got drowned in its water bowl. He did not realise it had been sucking on an HIV person before he captured it and he got the disease while trying to revive it.

AIDS stands for (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrom). It is not a single disease rather, it is a variety of health problems caused by illnesses and/or cancer that have taken advantage of the body's impaired immune system.

AIDS is caused by a micro organism or a germ which is HIV(Human Immunodeficiency Virus). This HIV germ can only live in blood, sperm and varginal juice and it is too small to see. AIDS is a deadly disease and there is no cure for it.

AIDS is caused by a virus called HIV.When HIV enters the blood streams a person may become infected with it.When this happens,a person is said to be HIV positive meaning that the presence of the virus has been detected within the body. A person with HIV does not necessarily have AIDS.

AIDS is the result of HIV infection, but many people with HIV positive are still healthy and have none of the health problems associated with AIDS.

There are many ways of contracting AIDS and here are some of the most common ways of contacting :
Using a needle with infected blood (mainly used for drugs)
Having any contact with infected blood or body fluids.
The most common way of contracting AIDS is through sexual intercourse.

However, the innocent victims are people who contacted the disease via contaminated blood transfusions; such as Arthur Ashe.

Aids is a terrrible disease. And it can become a death sentence esp to the innocent victims. And it carries a lot of stigma and prejudice to the disease.

AIDS is still a very much delicate subject and a lot of people are not familiar with the subject since people with AIDS were considered to be reckless and very careless. And now that we do know the real facts or so we think, because a lot of views are now arising and so many causes of the wild spread are surfacing we can not really say which are facts and which are not.

We all have a right to speak out our minds and we should all be given fair chances to have a say in this matter.

As we have mentioned many causes of the wild spread are surfacing and people are getting infected by day or should I say by the minute. Scientists are busy trying to find a cure but to no vail. There are vaccines which can make infected people feel stronger but there is no real cure.
So how can we protect ourselves from this deadly disease?
Condoms are very much available and they are free. They can prevent the fluids which contain the virus from entering a person's body through sexual intercourse. They are safe but they are not 100% safe!
Then there is another method ABSTAIN. Since the most common way of contracting AIDS is through sexual intercourse. The safest way from even the slightest risk of contracting AIDS is by ABSTAINING from sex.

PREVENTION IS THE CURE.
