They say that "shrinking your stomach" is a myth but it actually works. Start by limiting the size of your portions. Tell yourself "I'm going to eat this and then if I'm still hungry, I'll eat some more." Wait to eat until you're hungry. Stop eating after the hunger subsides. Drink water, sometimes thirst "feels" like hunger. Substitute some foods for another. Have an apple. Don't think about losing weight, think about how your clothes fit. Notice how much more confortable you feel without being stuffed. There, that's a few things you can do. Now, give me 10. :-)

Its not necessarily her fault that shes over weight you its just harder for some people to stay thin because of their genetics. There are a lot of easy things to do to loss weight or at least be healthy. Of course you need a balanced diet but instead of taking the elevator take the stairs or when you go to the store park a little farther away so you have a farther walk and of course exercise and you should be on your way to your perfect body.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Being heavy is normal to alot of people. Half of the US is overweight. If you want to live long and healthy then do something about it. If you dont care to find a decent man or job then keep eating and lazy habits you are currently doing.
I hate to say this but you can't find a goo djob being overweight...companies screen fat people out
