I'm trying to put my friend's mind at rest, can anyone help?
She has OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and worries constantly about being infected with diseases - especially HIV and Hepatitis B/C.
Anyway, what happened is she saw a tiny line/mark of something red on her finger (on that transparent bit between her finger and nail).
She hasn't come into contact with any blood today (as far as she knows), and her healthcare workers are always telling her not to jump to the conclusion that everything red she sees is blood.
Well, what happened is when she saw this red on her she wet her finger with some spit and tried to rub it off, it didn't come off so she thought it couldn't be blood - so she then put the same finger on the end of her tongue again to get some more spit to rub it once more - it still didn't come off.
Wanting to make sure further she got a cotton bud and wet it with spit, then she rubbed the mark again and this time it came off. She's worried she's now infected.

My dad ate a cashew that had warms in it. He seemed fine for about a day after he ate it and now he's getting sick. He has been vomiting, and he seems grouchier then normal. Do you think it was the cashew that caused him to get sick or the warm, or is there a chance that it's all in his mind?

Bit of a personal question this, but been using tampax this year, but seem to get infection after infection just after I finish. Any one else had similar problems? Used pads all my life with no problems. I take it that this is the cause.

My mom is the person I am closest to in my family. I am depressed. She told my brother and I that if we ever needed to talk to her we could. I feel awkward talking to her about my problems in person and I think I am depressed. I have a way with words on paper and have been told I am a good writer. i am a 16 year old and have never been sexually active. Over the past year i have been having so many yeast infections. I went to the gyno and she prescribed a pill for me. So i took it and the infection went away, but now it's coming back. Only this time i'm experiencing some pain in my ovaries. Why do i keep having yeast infections? i wear cotton panties and use mild soaps. Can yeast infections bring infertility?

I'm sure he has trench mouth, or something very similar. Sometimes his breath smells like rotten meat, it's really bad! He thinks I'm criticizing him whenever I suggest seeing the dentist, but all I'm trying to do is help him. It's a known fact that bad gums can cause all kinds of heart and health problems, but he insists the smell is coming from his lungs or stomach. I say he should rule out the obvious and go see a dentist first.

I am wanting to lose about 30-35 pounds before like august 5th. I amd working out to. Not at the gym or anything. But i am walking and doing this 15 minute ab work outs and 5 minute butt blaster (haha i know). And I have been trying to get as much stuff i can a day and everything. But about how many calories should I eat a day? and other suggestions on exercises?? I dont have any equipment nor have any money to buy anything. I get an uncomfortable feeling so I go to sleep a little early.Wake up the next morning, I notice a fever.I got less than 10 hours of sleep.Throughout the day, I feel fatigue, so I got some rest for an hour during the afternoon.I slept with my whole body under some thick blankets because I was cold (not shivering) and had goosebumps.When I woke up, my sister described me as an oven because she could feel my heat from an inch away without touching me.In the car, my forehead did not seem hot.But when we got to the restaurant my fever got higher while we were waiting for the food.That night, I slept early.But during my sleep, I had a nightmare that made me wake up almost crying.It was one of those nightmares that happened before but you can't really remember it or describe it. I slept for 13 hours that night.While up, I had a very mild headache that went away in a few min. I have also lost my appetite and cough(kinda dry) 10-20 times a day.Please diagnose this.Im 11.

I'm a female and I always always always notice that guys will look down there while Im walking or standing or whatever. I am just wondering why its necessary for a guy to freakin stare between my legs all the time. It always makes me feel uncomfortable. They do it anywhere..all the time.. do any other girls get this same thing from guys?
