After you drink (eat) anything with sugar in it your teeth are exposed to acids being formed while your mouth is getting rid of it. These acids break down your teeth and cause cavities. It's not a big deal if you drink it all at once, just don't sip your OJ for a long time (or suck on candies during the day) as you will have repeated acid attacks as a result. Acids in sodas and juices are definately getting more attention in the dental community, keep your ears open for more information in the media. Hope that helps!

the acids in soda are worse. but, oj in moderation is a healthy alternative.

prolonged exposure can certainly damage your enamel. My sister used to like to suck lemons, ruined her teeth.
