I think its a great idea. Sometimes it's much easier to communicate through writing. You can say whatever you want and are less likely to forget important details or feelings. Also it gives the other person a chance to fully absorb everything before responding. As a mom, I can say that I would really appreciate my kids writing to me rather than not talking at all.
I'm sure your mom will be relieved that you are putting your trust in her and giving her a chance to help you (it's every mothers dream). Good luck sweetheart, I wish you all the best.

Use whatever method you feel you need to to tell her. You could include a request that she speak with you about your depression in the note. This will resolve both of the major problems that you have at the moment. You will feel better after doing so.

Yes !! Tell her through a note and be sure to include in the note that you definitely want to discuss this more in person. Tell her that you might want to see a psychiatrist and psychologist team to figure out whats going on with you and begin the steps to solve it.
Im glad you decided that you want to tell her. Do it because depression can get worse and destroy your life (coming fron someone who has been there) .

Yes!!! It is .... I hid the fact that I was depressed from my mom for many months and confided on a friend till I hit rock bottom. She knew something was going on with me, So under an ultimatum I wrote a note explaining what was happening with me and it worked fine ... alot more comfrotable then talking face to face with her! Good Luck!

yes you can tell your mom by writting a note.... but then again.. what if she reads it and takes it the wrong way and is hurt that you feel you cant approcch her.... just tell your mom..a nd try not to use medications. usually the doctors are handing oout anti depressants like lollies in a candy shop.. try to use some herbal alternatives. they dont seem to fix the problem immediately .. but in the llong run with good exercise youw ill get alot of benifit form herbs.....

many people can express themselves better in a letter, they can gather their thoughts, etc.. If you think this is the best way for you to get out what you are feeling then do it. I would also explain to her why you are writing a letter.
Your doing the right thing by telling someone. It doesn't matter how you do it-just that you do it!
best of luck, sweetie!

Yes, totally fine! I also used to talk with notes when I was younger, even though I was very close to my mom.
Go ahead, write her a letter and tell everything.

yes. thats definitly a very good idea. if you arent comfortable saying it to her in person you probably never will tell her at all unless you write it to her, and it is very important that you let her know how you are feeling, so yes. you can.
