Both my parents are docters/nutrionists. They say anywhere from 1000 to 1500 is the normal range to lose weight. Just cut back 500+ and dont eat an extra 500+ calories, thats 1000 you got rid of. Times that by each day, 7, and 7000 calories or more. Or 2 pounds a week. Maybe try weight watchers? I lost 56 lbs in 4 months on that.

not good to lose weight that much in that short a time span. bad for your body and bad for your metabolism.

just do the cabbage soup diet. not good for you but it works if you looking for a quick fix. you need to be mentally prepared for it though.

for the most optimal level,
you are looking at losing 2lbs a week. yup, sounds nothing but if you did that, your metabolism will cope better so when you lose all that weight, you won't gain it faster than you took it off. get what i'm saying?

eat smaller portions throughout the day on a more frequent level. it goes without saying that fruit n veg are your best friends, junk food is your worst. don't cheat and you will lose it fast.

exercise is a must!!! the more cardio the better. in my opinion, walking does nothing. running is the best for losing weight. the longer the better. and guess what :) you can run in the streets, parks for free.

the unfortunate thing is, you cannot do diet without exercise and vice versa. both complement one another. it really does take that much work to be fit but if you get into a routine you like, you'll really enjoy it. if you do the run, don't expect instantly to do a good run. you'll find 5mins hard since you're not active enough but if you do that at least 3 times a day, you'll find it easier and easier and will end up on 1hour no probs.

yup, no cheat days my friend. that's the way it works.

3500 calories = one pound of fat
It also depends on if it's all fat you're wanting to lose because you'll gain weight at first. It's muscle tone but you'll drop weight faster with more muscle...so...yeah

Try a 1200-1500 calorie diet a day. Or eat 500 less calories a day. That's pound or two a week if you really crack down on yourself.

First you need to join a gym or find a workout facility that is affordable. Those little home workouts are just gimmicks for the most part. You have to workout with cardio and weights to lose real weight. I can not guess how many calories you need without knowing your stats.
