I am 38 years old, for years I have had chronic stiffness and strain in my neck, if I try to move it. Also, I have had aching and straining in my knees whilst walking up stairs or up hills. When I wake up in the morning I feel about 90! Massage does not seem to help.

My name id Dr.Jothi. I'm a consultant cardiac surgeon from coimbatore south india. I work in a private hospital at coimbatore. I have plenty of small children with heart diseases who are very poor and unable to afford the cost of surgery. I therefore request any body to help these kids by donating any money or lead me to organisations who might be willing to help these poor children.

I'm currently working 2 jobs, and I like both. Whenever someone says something about leaving my part-time job, I either mutter something about leaving it "eventually" or say how much I love working that job. I'm paranoid that as soon as I leave one job I'll be fired from the other job & be SOL. I actually was fired once & ended up not having a job for a few months, since it was so hard finding a decent job that paid enough for my bills. I think that only fueled my work obsession. My two sisters have had terrible times keeping jobs, so my family has kept emphasising my work ethics. Now they're starting to say that I work too much.

I'm working my entire life away. If I'm not careful I'll work away the time that I could be spending on education, friends, & relationships.

Taking a huge vacation isn't really an option for me, since that's too huge of step right now. I have taken a step & asked to work fewer hours at my other job, but I'm afraid of allowing myself to overwork myself.

I usually do strength training on one day, then walking the next day, then cardio, then walking again, then one rest day, then strength training again and so on.

The day after weight lifting, I just take it easy and go for a walk but the next day, I have to do my aerobic (I use a stationary bike). Sometimes, I'm still sore from my strength training (I do weights every 5 days but I will force it a little every 15 days so I get sore).

I always take a day's rest before my strength training but I always wonder if I'm doing more good or bad when I do cardio when I'm still sore (the day after the day I do weights).

Am I doing more good because cardio improve circulation so my muscles can heal better or I am doing more bad because I should just let my muscle rest and heal?

I would appreciate any imput on this and I thank you all in advance if you have any comments.

Is there a company used by insurance companies that keeps all medical information on file - in other words, if one pays for treatment through insurance, might there be a depository somewhere that has your medical records and information relating to such treatment on file? I heard that there's such a depository of information in Virginia or Maryland.

Why does the doctor have to insert a finger into your anus as well as your vagina when you have an internal pelvic exam? I find it uncomfortable and am worried what they will 'find' up there!

i have been on the birth control pill for about 2 years now and i remember when i was just starting out i took ovcon 35 (35 mg) of the pill for well over a year and about every 2 weeks i would go through break through bleeding, i got annoyed and switched brands and while i was at it i upped my dosage of the pill to 50 mg a month instead of 35. Now i don't break through bleed however when i do get my periods they are very very light and last for only a couple of days and i was wondering if thats normal or even healthy i bleed maybe a tablespoons worth of blood or so vs when i wasnt on the pill i was much heavier can someone tell me if really light periods are normal and whether or not the # of mgs in the pill effect the overall heaviness of your period? thanks

Hello
I've noticed lots of people with simlair problems, all with answers such as 'go to doctors' 'get a blood test' etc.
Ive been going to doctors for the last 6 months, had blood tests,ECGs,X Rays etc
and all doctors are telling me now is to wait...
i cant go out to tesco! or weekends, etc.
im really not sure where to turn?
ive suggested, ear infections, Vertio, migranes, etc to doctors.

But generly, i feel dissy for a month, get better, for a few weeks, then in come on again for a month, been up and down like that for ages.

im very close to depression, is there anything you can suggest?
thanks alot
