I've been strict vegan almost 6 years and I've just accidently consumed roughly 130 grams of finely ground beef at a restaraunt. I'm experiencing severe stomach cramps and lethargy and burping and farting and I don't know what to do. The food is in my intestine by now, so it's probably too late to vomit it up, and it's too early for laxatives, and if I use pain killers it will constipate me further. What do I do?

she had a appendicitis operation about 10 years ago. we dont know if it is related to this.
she took a tablet called myospa last time but only got momentary relief. The doctor says its a muscle strain. But she never does anything to sprain her muscle.
She gets this sever pain all of a sudden . But it subsides on its own.
We are confused . Plz tell us wt to do.

I had a gastric bypass 7 years ago. I lost over 150 lbs. and kept it off! I feel great with the exception of a lot of extra skin around my abd., breasts, arms and rear. My ins. refuses to cover the surgery stating that it is "cosmetic" rather than "reconstructive". They obviously did not look at the pictures of my disfigured mid section. I am looking for a Dr. or teachin hosp., who will be interested in doing pro bono, or reduced cost surgery. In exchange I would be willing to be photographed or video taped, before, during, and after. I am a designer at a printing co. and would put together promotional piece(s), printed and mailed to a list of bariatric patients in the area or accross the country, to showcase the work. I have encountered many people who NEED these surgeries to resume normal lives, patients who are interested in having their bodies refined as well. It could probably even be written of as an advertising expense. Please advise.

I am 23 years old, 5'4" and 125-130 lbs, so I am about where I need to be as far as weight is concerned. I have recently tried to add more natural foods to my diet, and started running and jogging. If I run 3 times a week for 30 minutes, is that enough since I am not trying to lose weight? I just want a healthier heart!

I was in a moderate speed crash on tuesday night. I went to the hopital and everything checked out, they just said i was bruised and sore. I was in the passenger seat and got hit on front passenger side.

anyways, i keep getting lower(and somtimes upper and lower)leg cramps, so often that i can't sleep for more than 15 minuets at a time?what is going on?How can I keep them under control?

When I went to the hospital a couple of days ago, they had a hard time getting my veins to open up to put the IV in. The nurse tried to put it in my right hand and didn't get anything. But, today, it is really sore and it isn't bruised on the surface, but inside where the vein is. The spot on the left hand that she was able to use doesn't ache as much as the right one. I don't have a doctor that I can go to. Should I take this matter back to the hospital or what do I do?

i like to play doctor...just me. what can i do and use to make me feel like i'm having surgery or SERIOUS medical attention.
nothing that actually hurts. i want like an IV, cast, SHOT, anestisia, tubes that like go in your nose, anything they use at a hospital ect........just pretend. something uncomfortable feeling.

Please can anyone answer my question as my friend is being very sketchy on details. My friend had unprotected sex with two men she'd met at a club (silly girl i know). I advised her to have a sexual health screening. She had tests done a few months ago and thankfully they all came back as clear. However, she received a phone call to go to the clinic today to have a HIV and AIDS test done. Is that standard practice? And if so, why so long after her original test? Thank you in advance. I hope this experience will encourage her to practice safer sex in future.

Everytime i am just walking down the street i get this massive pain underneath the bottom of my left rib cage, it puts me out of breath (which then hurts when i breathe) and i have to walk really slowly as to not cause pain. any ideas what this is, its only been happening the last couple of days and has slowly gotten worse to today!!!!! Lower right back pain in the general area of the kidney brought on by a simple, every day action like bending or turning.
Front thigh pain just above the knee occurring at the same time. Pain lasts for weeks at a time.

My doctor has referred me to get an MRI done because she suspects a problem with a compressed disk. From what I've been reading, I'm leaning more towards Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction but I'm no doctor. Plus, I don't know if the front thigh pain would be a symptom. Anyone know?

We haven't even been married for a year yet. We had an instance of physical abuse in the past, about 4 years ago, and he has claims to have taken anger management classes. He is moving to a new base very far away from where I have been living, we were preparing for the move, and I "snapped" when he told me that I couldn't see one of my friends before we left-I told him that I refuse to make the move with him. He has been demeaning to me, even in front of friends and family, and he is very controlling and manipulative. He claims that he "sees" this now, but didn't before. His father does the same things that he's been doing, but to a much greater degree, to his mother. I don't want to end up like her. He left the area in which that I've been living to pack his apartment this morning. I told him that I need "space", and that we both need professional help before we can even think about our relationship. Has anyone been in a situation like this? Can we save our marriage?

I went out for sushi last night and ate around 9pm. At midnight I felt some cramping but then it went away (or didn't hurt too much).

I woke up at 3:30 am feeling terrible, my stomach hurt so much, I couldn't use my stomach muscles to get up, and I couldn't feel a comfortable in any position-Finally I took a PeptoBismol and fell asleep even though the pain never went away.

Now I've been up since 6:30, and my stomach is still very sore/cramped. I'm blaming it on the sushi because thats the only thing I can think of. I took another Pepto but what else can I do?

I have a hair appointment at 10:30, an interview at 1, and I have to pack because I'm leaving for Vancouver tomorrow...

What do you think this is and how can I make it better?

for about two weeks now, i've been peeing a little dark in color... and my stomach has been hurting ALOT out of nowhere for a minute or two at random. my boyfriend always *** in me, so i'm always afraid i'd be pregnant, however... i haven't had my period for over 4 months. and generally i don't get my period until i try a new birth control or when my obgyn give me some medi to get a period. i would stay on birth control but after a few months of being on them, i guess my body adjusts to the medication and i stop having my period again.

now i haven't been to the doctor lately, and i'm planning on going friday. i just want to be prepared in case it's something really bad.

also, my urine color changed when i started taking drugs again. can that be the reason?
