for about two weeks now, i've been peeing a little dark in color... and my stomach has been hurting ALOT out of nowhere for a minute or two at random. my boyfriend always *** in me, so i'm always afraid i'd be pregnant, however... i haven't had my period for over 4 months. and generally i don't get my period until i try a new birth control or when my obgyn give me some medi to get a period. i would stay on birth control but after a few months of being on them, i guess my body adjusts to the medication and i stop having my period again.

now i haven't been to the doctor lately, and i'm planning on going friday. i just want to be prepared in case it's something really bad.

also, my urine color changed when i started taking drugs again. can that be the reason?

Are you seeing a regular doctor? I would suggest taking this matter to an endocrinologist or an OB/GYN..Not having a period is very bad for your body and it can cause all sorts of other problems, you need to be having a period at least every three months if not more...
I can tell you from experience i suffered from extremely irregular periods, my periods would range anywhere from 4 months to 1 year and althought i knew this was not normal i did not go see a doctor about this..After missing my period for a year straight i new something had to be done so i went and seen my doctor and all she wanted to do was put me on birth control which i did not want to do ((my husband and i want a baby)) so i decided to see an infertility specialist who ran all sorts of tests on me such as prolactin, thyroid, Lh, FSH, progesterone, estrogen, testosterone ect and came to find out i had elevated levels of testosterone which is a significant sign of PCOS (polycistic ovarian disorder)..Then he did an ultrasound which showed i have lots of follicles (which are what your eggs rest in until they are mature) i also had a very thick lining on my uterus..He diagnosed me with PCOS..
Here are some reasons that may be causing you to miss your period..
emotional upset
a lot of physical stress (like women athletes might experience)
poor diet
drugs (prescription and non prescription)
rapid change in weight
overweight or underweight
taking birth control pills
pregnancy
that's just the way you are
chronic illness (thyroid disorders, kidney disease, cystic fibrosis etc)
cysts or tumors in the ovary
PCOS
Endometriosis
blocked fallopian tubes
hormonal disorders
STD's

If you have missed more than one period and/or have symptoms such as abdominal pain, it is a good idea to go talk to your doctor or a nurse. You will probably be asked some questions and a physical exam will be performed. It is a good idea to keep a record of your periods which includes when it starts, stops, the amount of menstrual flow, drugs and any other symptoms. This will help the doctor figuring out what is going on.

Do you suffer any other abnormal symptoms other that irregular periods??

Like do you have any pain?
Abnormal facial and body hair?
Acne?
weight problem?
Problems loosing weight or obesity?
oily skin?
spotting?
pain during and after intercourse?

Something is going on with you and you need to get to the bottom of things, do not let this problem linger any longer, have your doctor run some tests, and be sure to take a pregnancy test to be on the safe side..
Just because you have not had your period in four months does not mean pregnancy is not possible it is very possible...
I have always been irregular and thought i could not get pregnant well 7 months went by and i still had not had my period, i took a pregnancy test which came out negative..Anyways i finally started bleeding i thought it was my period, it usually last 5 days but for some reason i was still bleeding two weeks later, i thought it was only because i hadn't had a period in so long so i thought nothing of it until i started getting these severe stomach pains...I went to the hospital the next day and come to find out i was 5 months pregnant, they diagnosed me with threatened pregnancy unfortunately 1 month later i lost the baby...
Get seen sooner rather than later honey, you need to know what is going on and if this underlying cause is serious ot not..
Good luck!

Medication can effect the color and odor of the urine, but dark (as in brown) urine is a sign that the kidneys are not working right. Drink plenty of water, at least a quart or two a day. No sugar added cranberry juice every day also. The acidity is good in flushing out the kidneys. Drink one or two 8 ounce glasses a day, this is important.

Just be sure to up your water intake to flush the toxins out of your kidneys. Start the water now and by the end of the day your urine should be better , but you must keep it up.

RE: Anytime you are having sex you COULD be pregnant.

When my Mother was dying I learned that the dark urine is a sign of the kidneys not working any more.
