Contact the associations and clinics and schools to get clear and sober approaches to this.
There exist certain universities in the country -- five of them in the U.S.A. and one, maybe two now in Canada actually, which are health-medical schools and universities who are certified by the respective accrediting associations of schools and colleges of the United States or Canada: they are bona-fide and recognized, and which confer B.S and M.S. and N.D. degrees in varied graduate programs.
One of these in particular inclines to the interests of women's health -- though they all do.
This one school confers the B.S. degree as well in several health science majors.
This school is the Bastyr University of Natural Health Sciences, located in Kenmore, Washington: email address www.bastyr.edu.
I should add here that Bastyr has a considerably high percentage of women faculty and students -- ~ 60% -- and so would resonate in a unique way with your plight.
They can recommend lots to you in terms knowing how to put this forward as a "nutritional" substance or otherwise the current legislation on this as regards the medicinal allopathic aspect, which is virtually 100% the province of the M.D. and Pharm.D. (Doctorate of Pharmacy).
These are the primary two lettered professionals that the F.D.A. recognizes.
In any case. Bastyr will be an excellent start because they are 100% legitimate and recognized in both Asia and Europe as well -- again as they all are...
They will be a fine start...and they along with still other insights will come to you as you proceed, because that is simply the natural result of virtually any initiative in which one engages. It just is.

Study and KNOW the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994. This provides the "safe harbor" in which you are allowed to educate others about nutrition and dietary products and how you are allowed to promote your products. Violate this and the FDA will shut you down. I know some of the people who work in the enforcement group and I am sad to say that they take an almost delight in shutting down supplement companies for simply violating the framework of what they're allowed to say and couldn't care less if the products work or not.
