it could be that your doctor doesn't like you

or there are some patients who actually active act in sick role, so they can get attention from doctors and nurses, which one are you?

sometimes bodies heal themselves without any medicine at all, sometimes, those medicines were not necessary.

so if you feel that you are really sick, you should just go see another doctor

Get in touch with your McMillan nurse and ask her. If she cant give you the answer that you need you MUST tell your doctor and insist that the cough is seen to. She is there for you to bother her. She gets PAID for looking after you so why are you so bothered about not bothering her? Good luck.

I forgot to say there is a cancer careline on the computer so look it up and they will telephone you and talk it out with you.Im sorry I dont know the exact name but if you type in www.cancer careline uk. I think it will come up.

Yep, go. You are entitled to see any other doctor at the practice if you wish. I have changed doctors before. Once I didn't give a reason, the second time I actually lodged a complaint.

If in doubt see the doc.

If you really don't feel comfortable with your current Dr change to a different Dr.

Go and see another Doctor.
If you have cancer the cough could be worrying.

Yes you should see your dr, but since your current dr is not helpful I would recommend finding another one. Preferably someone that does not share the same office of the one you currently see.

Go back and see her. It's your right! Change your doctor if she is not supporting you, that's what she is paid for.
