Lately, I've had high blood pressure, usually around 135/85 when resting and sometimes as low as 123/72. Tonight, I have BP at 159/96 and I just took 2mg Xanax, which is prescribed to me for anxiety so I'm pretty chilled out. Besides anxiety, what could be elevating my blood pressure?

i sometimes get pain right at the end of the arch to the beginning of my heel. when i push it down it hurts, but then putting pressure on it makes it go away a little bit. then if i were to walk, the heels of my feet would be really sore but the pain would go away again. it happens to both feet. is this some sort of foot condition? if so, what's the name of it.

** i live in hawaii so i usually use slippers (flip flops) to school and i use shoes seldomly. i also walk around a lot on campus and stand a long time at work.

My 8 year old has Tourettes and we've had the diagnosis for 2 years. His social life is great and he does well in school. Although his vocal and motor tics are frequent, he copes very well. He is playing soccer for on a league, plays hard and well, and enjoys it. I purposefully did not discuss his TS with the coach, thinking it was rather irrelevant. Recently, the coach has asked other parents what is "wrong" with him. Now he is informed.

My question is should I be informing people about this before they even notice or ask, or is that setting the scene for him to be treated differently with a label.

Up until now I have been operating on a need to know basis, and giving people credit that they can see that he is very competant and likable, despite his tics.

Should I talk to people more readily?

Whenever I try, I do it really well...but I am afraid it is anoreix behavior. Maybe I am just not used to not eating as much, but does this sound like bad eating habits:

Breakfast- Protein shake (about 2 cups)

Snake- Apple

Lunch- Yogurt, protein shake, sandwich

Dinner- Salad

Is that enough food?

I have slipped into a deep depression from all of this, how do I cope with chronic pain and the depression it involves?

So, we all know that when the weather gets hot, our bodies perspire and get moist....including "down there."

What do you do to stay dry throughout the day long after the shower's been had?
You can only change your undies so many times/day and baby powder wears off.

And, YES, I'm serious! =)

I get very disoriented sometimes in my right eye and partially in my left. It happens during odd times. Changes in light and such, patterns on the ground. It has happened while I was driving and all I can do is stop. If I try to continue to drive, I veer in one direction. When this happens, I always have a feeling like someone's on my right (not necessarily in a car). One thing I try to do when this happens is close my eyes and relax. It goes away 60% of the time, but sometimes it ends with a seizure. Also, when this happens and I do close my eyes, it's pitch black. I don't see the usual small bit of reddish light you normally see when you close your eyes in normal daylight or artificial light. When and if it goes away, it takes a few minutes to regain my sense of surroundings. What could be causing this?
