You're going to have to have your mom (or other trusted older/knowledgeable female) teach you how to use a tampon, because although your period might be over in 5 days, it also might not and you should be prepared...

by normal standards, it should be over the day before the party. but if you're one of the unfortunate few who get a 6 or 7 day period, my deepest apologies, and try wearing a tampon or bailing on the party if your parents won't let you.

wear a tampon

if you dont feel comfortable then go to the party anyway and just chat with your friends from outside the pool

it should go away by the day of your party, or at least be really really ight. Bt while your at the party best you wear a tampon. Just dont let the string show... lol. I saw a picture of someone with their string showing at the beach. it was odd, but funny.

This happened to me in the seventh grade, and I had to learn how to use tampons. It's not that bad! A little weird at first, but you will get used to it. Buy a junior or slender regular size.

id say wear a tampon! you cant even feel them plus in 5 days your flow will have hopefully gone down! so yea just use a tampon and your ready to party!

a period doesn't take 5 days to stop maybe 3 or 2 days trust me and you'll be ok

You ask someone to help you learn how to use tampons. They are not hard to use and work great.
