Whenever I try, I do it really well...but I am afraid it is anoreix behavior. Maybe I am just not used to not eating as much, but does this sound like bad eating habits:

Breakfast- Protein shake (about 2 cups)

Snake- Apple

Lunch- Yogurt, protein shake, sandwich

Dinner- Salad

Is that enough food?

you are depriving yourself eating like that - no wonder you cant stick to it - its not healthy.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Go see your doctor. If you do not already have an eating disorder, you could be on your way there.

One thing to consider is, do you really need to lose weight? You didn't list your stats so I don't know, but it's quite possible that you look just fine the way you are and should focus on being healthy, which will allow you to be naturally slim.

Dieting can be a tricky thing but it doesn't have to be. Here is a site that can assist you greatly with balancing your caloric intake and expenditure. http://www.mypyramidtracker.gov/login.aspx This is the USDA My Pyramid online and it has many tools for counting the number of calories consumed, counting the number of calories burned via exercise and regular daily activities, and it helps you to know whether or not you are lacking in any particular food groups and/or vitamins & minerals. What it basically comes down to is balancing diet and exercise. The goal of most people is to look and feel good, and this is the key to doing it. It can take some time to learn to navigate this site effectively, but it is well worth it. Just in case your wondering I'm not one of their employees, I happen to be a nursing student who had to use the site for a nutritional assessment. Hope that helps! Smiles, Jay

You're not eating enough. Your body needs at least 1200 calories to function properly and not go into starvation mode. You need to eat more fruit and veggies. Fish, like salmon and tilipia, and grilled chicken are also very healthy. For breakfast, egg whites and oatmeal are recommended.

Good luck!
