Health - 24 April 2007

At some appts both of them are there so we can all discuss and draw up a treatment plan. This is the first time anyone has truely helped me. People have said they would be there for me but it never felt like it. Right now they are the only people I trust. With them being the first ones to help me I am afraid. I feel like they will screw me over. Should I be feeling this way? Has anyone else experienced this?

As long as I can remember (4 and 5 years old even) Ive had neck pain. It happens when I go to bed at night. I toss and turn throughout the whole night, I move pillows all around, switch out pillows, nothing seems to help. My neck pain is constantly everynight. Its recently got worse. Now when my neck hurts it seems like the pain is also going down to the line of my shoulders to my back.
Ive never been in a severe car accident, never hurt myself for where my neck would hurt.
Do you know what it could be?
Could a Doctor make the pain go away?

I noticed a red sore on my 21mos. olds mouth outside on left corner, should i be concerned and take her to to doc. my husbands side of the family are prone to coldsores and so is my husband i thought i was being vigilant about the whole thing my older son has never had them.

I'm having extreme period cramps-- they woke me up last night at 3am and i took midol, a bath and got out a heating pad and i literally could not get to sleep it hurt so bad. I feel like my ovaries are being ripped out of my skin and twisted all around, my lower stomach is even sensitive to the touch-- as to where if i lightly touch it with my fingertips it hurts like hell...I can barely walk, but sitting hurts too-- curling up in a ball hurts worse... Im not vomiting

I'm 16-- and im trying to get someone to take me to the hospital but Im not sure if anyone can take me. If not, what can i do to help this, because I have to go back to school in an a few hours. I've taken a bath, midol, heating pad and i dont know what to do-- ive been shaking and crying- HELP!?

it just started, happend three times in a week and a halfish. 95% sure i am not pregnant and i am not drinking or eating something new on the days i have thrown up.

Are grapes okay to eat on a diet. I have got told many different things. I know they give you the poo's but hey? In my slimming world book they are classed as free foods so you can eat as much as you want when you want but people have different views? Thanks x

Counting calories is stupid. People don't have to spend there time counting how many calories they have eaten all day. If you are in middle school and you get school lunch then what do you do?Are you going to ask the lunch lady how much calories are in the sloppy joes?

I have a headache, now that sort of travels down to my neck... I really want to go to sleep, but that could be from a late night. Am also only a little dizzy and lose track of thought. It doesn't feel that serious right now.

Long story short--I was bitten by a 4 month old extra-large breed puppy back in early February. I did all the neccessary precautions (wound flush, antibiotics, sterile pads over the wound, etc, etc, etc). The bite was in between the "bend" of the thumb near the palm of the hand. It went from the web all the way around to the other side of the thumb and most was down to the bone. It healed nicely within 10 days and the 3 doctors treating me showed no concern of healing an infection inside. Over the last few days I've noticed almost an arthritic type pain in the joint of my thumb (right where it meets the hand basically). My thumb is slightly swollen, though it has been since the bite itself. It is really an arthritic pain. I guess I'm curious to know if it is simply arthritis or possibly arthritis as a result of the bite? I don't think there's an infection--there are no "lumps" under or around the dog bite and I have no fever or other signs of infection. Serious answers only.

She has never been with anyone before and we haven't been together yet (sex). She wants to get the vaccine. Now that I know she has never been with anyone I'm not sure I want to stay with her. I don't think I could handle the guilt if she developed cervical cancer.

It would be different if she had been with 5 or 6 (or whatever) people but she hasn't been with anyone and she's 24.

doctors and nurses advice are welcome

What should I do?
