i am having an op on tuesday morning, they have told me to fast after midnight monday, i have a wedding to go to on the sat night can i drink alcohol or not??

Yes I think you can as you have plenty of time to absorb the excess from the wedding, just don't go crazy, like falling down drunk. Moderation is safer.

NO at least not after midnight i would not drink.
Ive been put under anestesia a handful of times and its not always an easy experience. When you wake up some people feel very emotional and upset. I think that too much drinking the night before would only intensify these feelings.
I would not drink at all, but thats just me.
i will tell you the last time i was under general anestesia i woke up feeling great, but that was the only time. I spoke with my anestesiologist before the last procedure and told him that i usuallty feel upset and sad afterwards and maybe he took that into consideration. if you do decide to drink maybe let your anestesiologist know what youve done the night before so he can adjust accordingly...best of luck

Is the wedding on the Saturday before or after the surgery?
If it's before, limit the amount of alcohol you drink then. Have just one or two drinks, and switch to water or 7 up in between.
If it's after, don't drink any alcohol. It can have odd effects with your medications.
Ask your doctor for his recommendations, too. After all, that's why you (or your insurance company) is paying him.

I think so,
You have 3 days to get rid of the alcohol, it shouldnt affect it. I think you dispose of 1 unit an hour, so unless you drink 70ish units then it would have an effect (you'd be dead...)

Yeah you'll be fine but best be moderate in the amount of alcohol you drink.

I don't see why not. If they've told you to fast from Monday, you should be find to booze on Saturday.
