I'm having extreme period cramps-- they woke me up last night at 3am and i took midol, a bath and got out a heating pad and i literally could not get to sleep it hurt so bad. I feel like my ovaries are being ripped out of my skin and twisted all around, my lower stomach is even sensitive to the touch-- as to where if i lightly touch it with my fingertips it hurts like hell...I can barely walk, but sitting hurts too-- curling up in a ball hurts worse... Im not vomiting

I'm 16-- and im trying to get someone to take me to the hospital but Im not sure if anyone can take me. If not, what can i do to help this, because I have to go back to school in an a few hours. I've taken a bath, midol, heating pad and i dont know what to do-- ive been shaking and crying- HELP!?

If this is a sharp pain, and not your normal monthly cramps, it could be something like a kidney stone and you should go call your doctor right away.

If it is just your normal cramps, I have always found that EXCERCISING helps most, believe it or not. Strenuous exercise, like running and stretching and biking.
So, if you think it's just cramps, get moving. If you think it is out of the ordinary, please call your doctor and have it checked asap.

You may have to call in sick to school today--or if in the case of just cramps, go in later after you've tried to do some exercies, if you have a test or something that you must appear for.

I hope you feel better soon, hon.

Sounds like you have dysmenorrhea, you need to be on birth control to lighten your periods and cramps. If you can't get any kind of stronger meds like a tylenol 3 or 4 then get some Aleve. You need to keep that heating pad on your lower back and stomach to relax the cramping. If it is that painful and you go to a doctor and get the proper paper work I doubt your school could punish you.

You have done everything that's possible at home. You're going to have to get to the doctor after school . Surely your parents would be concerned enough to help you get to a doctor. There's really something wrong, you should not be in this much pain. do your best to tell yourself that this is going to be taking care of and you don't have to worry. This might help you calm down. This situation will be resolved. Just do what ever you have to to get to the doctor or an emergency room.

Well I think school is out for the day and you need to find someone to take you to the hospital now! It sounds like it could be just a really bad period but something elase could be going on. Get to the ER.

You NEED to go to the hospital any way that you can even if it means going via ambulance. It sounds like a severe case of Endometriosis! It can (and WILL) prevent you from having children if not taken care of properly! Dont wait for a friend... go ASAP!!

I hope that you will have less pain tomorrow!! Take care!!
