I wouldn't say I'm on a diet necessarily...especially because the word "diet" has such bad connotations these days. But, I am definitely trying to make healthier choices.

I haven't had pizza for a few weeks, but today my work ordered pizza for myself and all my co-workers. I didn't over-do it, but I did have one slice of cheese pizza. I used napkins to soak up most of the grease from the pizza until almost none would come off onto the napkin. Does this actually do me any good, or is it just a waste of time and something for my co-workers to make fun of me for?

I have had chronic allergies since forever. Chronic post nasal drip, puffy eyes in the morning, itchy eyes. Really I have become used to it. But for two weeks I was takign Claritin and some nasanex spray, it cleared me right up. My voice sounded more clear, and I did not have to chew gum all day to fix my breeath. It was awesome, except the claritin kept me up all night long. The nasal spray alone did nothing to help. I havent called my allergy dr yet, I am wanting to try something more natural. Anyone had any luck and want to share?

ok for those of you who know i am some issues right now.&& for those who dont.. i just got off my period a week ago. and i started it again its heavier and darker. i think i might be having a miscarriage i am on birthcontrol pills .. i was wondering if i should take my birth control pill for tonight or not???

I had unprotected intercourse with my guy twice and once the next night .. then took the morning after pill approximately 72 hours after the first unprotected sex. What are my chances of being pregnant?

Should I have taken the pill right after I had sexual intercourse the first time and then take another after the next or is that unhealthy for women to take it three days in a row?

I had surgery recently and am using hydrocodone to relax me and fall asleep. I took a tablet a few hours ago, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Can I take a Xanax tablet to help me fall asleep now. Its been 4 hours. I can't fall asleep and am having terrible anxiety. I know I need to handle it better, but right now this is all I have. Will anything bad happen if I take this one tablet?

My husband has been addicted to hydro/soma for three years and has been trying to get off them. In my opinion he has started them again the past couple of weeks. Other then his expressions and attitude the only thing I have to substantiate my opinion is his constricted pupils. He denies that it has anything to do with his drug abuse and states that it is because his contacts are so old. I would like to know if his pupils are not contracting do to the abuse or if it is possible that something else has caused the constriction.

i have these really sharp pains in my chest where my ribs meet at the top and around that area. this isnt the first time it's happened. feels as if im being stabbed. anyone know what to do? (im in my teens if that helps in any way).

I have cystic fybrosis and my dad has told me that acetaminophen is bad for my health in the long term use. I'd really appreciate it if you'd let me know, it's much needed information. I have serached all over the net and not found one answer.

Usually I eat alot of curries and rice and stuff cause I'm Indian. Now I need to cut the carbs, and i don't know where to start. If i cut carbs, should i also cut out good carbs like fruits and veggies? What should i do about meat? Should I boil chicken and eat it, or is it okay to fry it in extra virgin olive oil? Im two weeks from "supposable" having my period, but i already started it. Im not sure if its a period or not. I am 22 years old in a long-term, sexually active relationship. I am on the birth control pill and have been for the past year, but we do not use any other forms of contraception. About three weeks ago I experienced some mild breast tenderness, which I simply chalked up to PMS. My period started as usual a week later, however it was much lighter and shorter than usual, even for a birth control period. I resumed taking my pill that Sunday, but roughly one week later I began bleeding again, despite having been regularly taking my pill. Only this time it was very heavy, very dark, clotted and accompanied by heavy cramping. It has slowly been tapering off for the past two days, but I have never had such heavy bleeding in my life. Could I have been one of the 1% of birth control users who got pregnant, and am now experiencing a miscariage? Thank you for all answers.

i've been diagnosed as having major depression, and the drs. were unsure if I am bipolar. i have tried several medications and have had awful side effects,from hallucinations to becoming a complete insomniac. i therefore do not wish to try any more medications. i am severely depressed, for an extensive period(around 8 months) and have put on a substantial amount of weight, socially isolated myself for the most part and generally just don't care. i am looking for any home or herbal remedies. thank you.

I have been haveing sex with my boyfriend for about a year now. For the first 3 months, it was pain free. We could do numerous positions and be as wild as we wanted. Then, one night we had sex and it was the worst pain I have ever felt. It felt like he struck something, I even got diaherra. Since then, it is painful to have sex. It hurts pretty bad when he puts it in deeper or if we do certain postions.

I went to Plan Parent Hood. I took a PAPS test and an STD test and passed with nothing wrong. The doctor said it is possible he is hitting my cervix--- but if that's true then why didn't it hurt when we had wild sex when we first dated???

HELP??? any advice, concerns, or possible explinations would be helpful.

you start your period for the month? i know it probably isnt good but i should be starting my period right about prom time and i would have no problem with that but the man at our school who scheduals our prom thinks it is a tradition to have it at our local armary and it is infested w/ cockroaches in the bathroom. im sorry but i am too scared and grossed out to use the restroom in there. i am not wearing a pad so please dont even mention that. i would if it was something other than prom but i want to be comfortable and not feel like i am wearing a diaper. so can this do much dammage to wear it for about 2 hours?

Hello! I suspect that I have a hip labral tear. I am a 34 year-old female in moderately good health, but in bad physical shape (ie I don't get much exercise). No other health problems to speak of.

I recently moved to a house with steep stairs. About a week after the move, I began experiencing a "pop" or "click" in my left hip. I experience mild pain when the leg is at a 45 degree angle. I can walk on it, but there is always a slight discomfort.

I would like to avoid a doctor's visit by doing some at home physical therapy. Could anyone give me any advice or point me to some imformation that might be helpful?
