Penicillin is the clear/amber liquid that forms on the top of penicillium species mold found in blue cheeses. The amount of that liquid byproduct of the mold's decomposition of the cheese is very tiny. I suppose if you were VERY hypersensitive to it, yes, you could possibly get sick from it.

However, I have known penicillin-sensitive people who love blue cheese and still eat it without any problems.

Yes it will! Do not eat it at all! Do not cut off the mold or anything like that. First off do not buy it at all! I am alleric to penicilin, and molded cheese almost killed me. I am talking about even just a bit. Take care

It is always best to cut the mold off of cheese before eating it. I don't think penicillin is made from cheese mold.

if its green mold i wouldn't eat it..but isn't all cheese basically a form of mold..the white stuff that gets on cheddar i know is..you wont get sick from it because you are allergic to penicillin i do know that
